We take our name from one of Atlanta's many tales of prohibition. Around 1910, networks emerged that would purchase out of state alcohol, ship it to the city and store it in secret warehouses for repackaging into smaller containers—and sold to street-dealing "pocket tigers." The bosses of this notorious Atlanta whiskey underground were rightly named, "Tiger Kings."
