The Nerk Twins (formerly known as "The TuBeatles") have been performing together since 2006. Ted Rosedale and Matt Kinzler are not a sound-alike or look-alike Beatles tribute. What they bring an audience is much more intimate and true to the nature of the Beatles. Matt and Ted provide a window into the craft, musicianship and attitude of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Every performance is a unique opportunity to discover what John and Paul might have sounded like as they initially composed their songs. The Nerk Twins are dedicated to delivering passionate performances that get the audience highly involved and walking away with a new appreciation of the Beatles.
What a great time we had at the recent TuBeatles' show! They are awesome musicians and excellent singers. The harmony was spectacular. I can't wait to see Ted and Matt again at Bitter End in NYC labor day weekend. Gonna be a phenomenal show!!
Attended a small party in Freeport last week where the TuBeatles performed. Awesome singalong - every one at the party was provided with a handout of words to the Beatle songs... Great fun when everyone starts singing along. Even without the singing the two lads recreate the energy I remember that got me excited when I first heard these songs.Also- because they are acoustic - they are not too loud so you can still talk to others if you want. I hate when I go to a party and I can't talk to anyone because the music is too loud. I would definitely recommend them

I give the Nerk Twins my highest recommendation. They played for my husband's birthday. My husband is the ultimate Beatle fan. He knows every word to every song and plays drums and guitar to Beatle music himself. He loved them. They were thoroughly professional in communication and deportment. They allowed my husband and son to play back up drums and did not get the least bit frazzled by the crowd's singing and playing various hand held instruments. They were gracious and complimentary. If you love Beatle music, you will love to have the Nerk Twins play for you. We hope to have them come back in the future!

Absolutely perfect for our day! Could not have expected how fun and perfect they would be! Asked for a few hours and we ALL were having such a good time we ended up keeping them all night!!! Guests were impressed! ROCK ON! And thanks for letting my new husband and I sing and play~ what an impromptu treat!

The Nerk Twins were very sweet, personable, and most importantly of all - they were talented performers. I would definitely recommend them to anyone - I would even attend their shows/concerts if they were performing near me. The week before my event, we had a little debacle on our side of things, and the band went above and beyond to help out while maintaining positive attitudes. The day of the event, they were professional, yet friendly, super flexible, and I couldn't have asked for anything more.

In 2010, Ted and Matt welcomed Jay Sarle into the Nerk Twins as an official 3rd member. Jay is also a life-long Beatles fan, and is helping the Nerk Twins achieve even more rocking and authentic performances. Having Jay in the group has not only allowed the Nerk Twins to improve their availability for gigs as a duo, but it has created the opportunity for the occasional gig as a trio; providing a very unique acoustic Beatles experience.
Most importantly: The Nerk Twins perform all songs from the Beatles catalog, and they take requests!
Because we are an acoustic duo- we have minimal technical requirements. We can provide the sound system if necessary- but there will be an additional fee if that is required.
The set list is obviously Beatles songs. Since we can do any Beatles song, The set lists vary based upon whether the show is a singalong or just our performance without audience participation. We prefer to receive special song requests prior to the night of the gig, so that we can rehearse the songs and make sure we give you a great show.
