The Velvet Fog is a high-energy cover band, playing professional-level covers of rock, R&B, blues and alternative hits from the 60's to the 2000's.
Our setlists are designed so that there's something fun for everyone - mixing well known classic rock hits with deep cuts that showcase the level of musicianship that The Velvet Fog is capable of.

Party Band, Cover Band
We had the best experience hiring the Velvet Fog through Gigsalad! Communication was great from the inquiry to the setup. They answered every question quickly. They arrived on time if not early to set up and brought all their own equipment. Used the side yard so as to not Dustin the guests at the party. They had a wonderful repertoire of diverse music and played continuously while the guests danced. They even played Purple Rain as the finale which was my absolute favorite. They dressed in theme to the party and the lead singer even gave each of the guests a hug at the end. Class act. I would definitely hire them again!

This band is truly exceptional and a must for any occasion. Their set list covers an array of various rock songs and each musician is truly outstanding in their art. If you're wanting to have a fully interactive band for your backyard party, restaurant live show, or any other, this is the band to have!!

About
Although the band is new (first performance in late 2023) the 4 musicians of The Velvet Fog are no newcomers to the Bay Area music scene, with Gabriel, Scott, Ryan and Mark all having played in multiple original, tribute and cover bands over the past 2 decades and between them have well over 1,000 live performances played.
From our very first show we have impressed audiences with our technical ability, excellent tone and the fun we bring to the stage - many audience members asking why they hadn't heard of us before (and not believing us when we told them it was our first gig - they thought we'd been playing together for years!) and telling us afterwards "you guys need to be playing in Nashville".
Our setlist comprises of some of the best rock, blues, R&B and alternative music from the 60's to into the 2000's - an A -Z of hit songs, played *well*, that will keep your event rocking! We all have fun playing together and it creates an infectious energy that our audiences can't help but pick up on.
We pride ourselves on our professionalism: from our playing ability to the time we spend working on our tones and sound levels. We understand that we're there to facilitate a good time for you and your guests, and do our best to create the sonic atmosphere for that to happen.
