The Velvet Voice

I offer self contained sets of songs spanning 1924 to the 1990s (using backing tracks), and work locally with disparate incredibly talented musicians when creating set lists for various scenarios (dinner or cocktail music, dance music for the Swing Dance crowd). I love to tell the history behind the song, and the story being told through the song. I also have a show called "Cast of Characters" in which I sing songs from the many productions and roles I have performed.

With respect to voice over work, I record and produce voice over spots in my home studio, and have the ability to record character voices and books 'on tape'. My speaking voice is particularly suited to recording 'meditation tracks' to put the listener at ease and help them relax and focus.

I have had a long career in professional theater, as well as local TV and on-air voice over work. My passion is to preserve and promote songs from the Standards Songbook era, and to ignite the minds of hearts of young artists exploring their own 'voices'.

Theater roles include 3 national tours (Eliza, My Fair Lady; Anna, The King & I; and Audrey, Little Shop of Horrors). As a headline entertainer, I circumnavigated the globe on Holland America.

Having relocated to the Tampa Bay Area in 2018, I now volunteer time for a local non-profit radio station dedicated to promoting local musicians.

In my alter-ego life, and am an IT Manager, ServiceNow Evangelist and Builder of Bridges between business stakeholders and technical engineers and coders.
