My show is a combination of music and visual effects where every song becomes a musical story. From the passionate works of Massenet and Albinoni to the excitement of Vivaldi and Puccini to the fire of her own ethnic Ukrainian folk music, she takes her audience through a story line of the violin and its magnificent music. Throw in, just for fun, a contemporary version of some Michael Flatley Irish music and the romance of an Astor Piazzolla tango or two and you'll have an evening of exciting musical entertainment you won't soon forget. Daria Apostolova is a talented Violinists and Performer who invites her audience to share her passion for the violin and its music in her show "Violin Stories."
Playing violin since the age of five, the Ukrainian native's first performance on national TV was just two years later at the age of seven. Years of practice, commitment and dedication to her chosen craft help reward the young girl as she was the winner and Laureate at many National competitions and festivals. After graduating summa cum laude and receiving her Red Diploma from the Music College of Dankevich in the Ukraine and the Nezhdanova Academy of Music in Odessa, she obtained a position with the Chamber Filarmonic Orchestra in Odessa. Tours of Europe and North America leading her own string quartet and with various orchestras helped fuel her love for (link hidden)w she lives in Jacksonville, FL and performes as a solo violinist, with her own string quartet and with many different orchestras and ensembles.
