I can't express enough gratitude to Betsy for making my daughter's 7th birthday an absolute dream come true! From the moment she arrived, dressed as a stunning fairy, Betsy brought pure magic and joy to the celebration.
Betsy's storytelling skills were captivating, as she took the children on enchanting adventures through her delightful story books. The kids loved it!
The party was filled with non-stop excitement as Betsy seamlessly transitioned from one activity to the next. The kids were thrilled to create beautiful crafts under her guidance, each one a treasured keepsake. And when it was time for the dance party, Betsy's energy was contagious! The kids couldn't stop grooving to the music. She organized fantastic games that had all the children laughing, playing, and having the time of their lives. And the glitter tattoos? A total hit!
Throughout the entire party, there wasn't a single dull moment. Betsy kept the children engaged, entertained, and smiling from ear to ear. My daughter later told me it was her best birthday ever, and I couldn't agree more!
As a parent, I appreciated how Betsy came fully prepared with all the necessary supplies. I didn't have to worry about a thing! Her professionalism and attention to detail allowed me to relax and enjoy the party alongside the kids.
I wholeheartedly recommend Betsy for any children's party. Her magical presence, creative activities, and ability to connect with children are truly exceptional. She is a real-life fairy godmother who brings joy and unforgettable memories to every celebration!

The tooth fairy came and visited and was not only super friendly, enchanting, and loved by the children, but educated them about dental health that kept them engaged! 10 stars out of 5! Will definitely book more visits in the future!

The Spirited Tooth Fairy visited us at the Irving Arts Center for our preschool reading and art time. She played the role of The Valentine Fairy for us and read stories, sang songs, and brought out her adorable puppets. The children AND parents loved every minute. She was just amazing! We will have her back for more of our programs for sure! We love you Spirited Tooth Fairy! You are so very talented!

The Spirited Mrs. Claus joined our preschool for two class parties. She was BEYOND our expectations. Mostly importantly the children loved her, but the parents did too. She came prepared with a book to read, a simple magic trick, songs and took time to talk about the North Pole and Santa/the Elves preparing for the upcoming holiday.

Our tea party was amazing! Betsy thought of everything and brought the most yummy munchies and tea. We had so much fun selecting our own tea cup and talking about Christmas memories as we ate drank. Craft time was so much fun with suncatchers and boutique jewelry making. The memories we made will last a lifetime and it would not have been possible without Betsy/Mrs. Claus!

She was absolutely spectacular with my toddler daughter and all the kids. Even the bigger kids were engaged, and had so much fun with her. She took the time to specifically customize her show to suit my daughter's favorite things, singing, dancing, puppets. She's worth every penny!

About
"The Wandering Drama Company"
Betsy graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a master’s degree in drama and holds a bachelor’s degree in theatre from Towson University. She performed in Maryland, Virgina, Michigan and Texas and thoroughly enjoyed her time as a Costumed Historic Interpreter at Colonial Williamsburg. She is a teaching artist with Broadway Dallas and performs as an actor with American Immersion Theatre. She has taught drama to all education levels—preschool through college.
In addition to teaching, Betsy is passionate about developing new arts programming. After her time as Education Director of Flint Youth Theatre, she spent many happy years facilitating play-based nature classes for Tinkergarten. She adores working with children of all ages and enjoys bringing engaging (and spirited) characters to life. In 2023 Betsy launched "The Wandering Drama Company", through which she performs as The Spirited Mrs. Claus, The Spirited Fairy and The Spirited Mother Goose.
