The idea behind The Wood Vibrations was to form a group that redefined the “cover band” experience. Combining acoustic instruments with our voices, we’ve forged a dynamic blend of intimacy and drama. The result is a sound, style, and energy that makes a unique statement at our events. With a repertoire that ranges from atmospheric to floor stomping dance anthems, there is music for everyone. Our instrumentation allows for increased volume control and we offer different band configurations to fit any situation. We cover a wide range of songs and genres including rock, pop, country, oldies, disco, folk, jazz, and classical. Booking include MC services, requests, sound system, and lighting.

Peter Kelly and the band the Wood Vibrations are awesome! We hired the Wood Vibrations to play during our company Welcome Back party on probably what was one of the hottest days of the summer thus far. Regardless of the heat, Peter and the band managed to create an incredible vibe with their high energy, amazing sound (from only three people) and wide range of music. Peter is a consummate professional and truly helped to make our event one to remember.

What to Expect
The Wood Vibrations are a four piece acoustic based band who play a wide variety of music from the 50's through today. The goal of the band is to redefine the "acoustic band" format by avoiding the cliches. The idea of playing as an "acoustic" band has certain advantages. The band requires less space than most traditional bands and also has more control over their volume. Though you'll hear some songs you'd probably expect to hear from a band with acoustic instruments, what separates The Wood Vibrations is the repertoire of songs you wouldn't expect. Along with classics from the Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel, their performances also include lots music from artists like Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston, Prince, ect... The the two most common comments the band receives are: "I can't believe you guys did THAT song" and "I can't believe how much sound you put out!" Along with the acoustic instrumentation, the band has four vocalists, They spends a great deal of time arranging instrumentation and vocals to give them that "bigger than you'd expect" sound. With a list of songs that ranges from soft ballads to floor stomping dance anthems, The Wood Vibrations are a perfect fit for all types of events. The Wood Vibrations are also perfect in a background setting with a number of ballads, instrumentals, and jazz standards in their repertoire.
The Wood Vibrations come with a full sound system (multiple setups if necessary), basic lighting (if required), MC service, wireless mic for speeches/officiants, and the lineup can be expanded or reduced to fit your needs.

They spends a great deal of time arranging instrumentation and vocals to give them that "bigger than you'd expect" sound. With a list of songs that ranges from soft ballads to floor stomping dance anthems, The Wood Vibrations are a perfect fit for all types of events. The band has performed all around the Northeast since 2017. They've performed at everything from weddings, casinos, and corporate events to small bars and house parties. The core band consists of Peter Kelly (guitar/vocals), Sean Minardi (drums/vocals), Samantha Chestney (violin/vocals) and Mickey Zetts (bass/ vocals).
Additional Booking Notes
The Wood Vibrations is able to provide a full sound system (multiple setups if the event requires) and basic lighting. The four piece lineup allows for the band to fit into or adjust to just about any setting. We are able to provide sound system setups for small one room events or large indoor outdoor settings.
