Roll up for The BackBeats, Michigan's Premiere Tribute to The Beatles. With more bookings than any other Beatle band in Michigan, The BackBeats is proud to be the only Michigan-based Beatle show to have had sponsorship by both of the major classic rock Detroit radio stations (104.3 and 94.7) and also by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. With the current over saturation of Beatle bands featuring bad wigs and ill-fitting black suits, The BackBeats continues to put on the most entertaining and authentic Beatle show this side of Liverpool.
Just saw my fifth performance by The BackBeats and I have to say the band gets better every time I see them. They are not only in my opinion the best Beatles tribute act around (and I've seen the big names like Rain and 1964), but they are actually one of the best live bands period. I am very happy for them and their success. Very well deserved. Keep it up fellas.

The popularity of The BackBeats can be proven by the types of shows it is custom to doing. Certainly not a "bar band", The BackBeats can usually be found playing private events at hotels and country clubs, city funded festivals, and ticketed concerts at such noted Michigan venues as The Emerald Theatre in Mt. Clemens. The Royal Oak Theatre, and The Magic Bag in Ferndale. The band encourages everyone to go to their web site at (link hidden) and click the "Calendar" link to see just how popular and well booked the band is. In its "Vote for the Best" online poll, WDIV Channel 4 and its viewers had The BackBeats ranked as the number six Best Band in Detroit out of the 84 bands that competed. The band covers all eras of Beatles music, has different clothing to reflect the periods, and has a full PA and light show that travels with them if needed.
