We are the Little Big Band complete with fiery brass, a thumpin' rhythm section and male AND female vocals. We can be an elegant dinner~dance band or "turn on" the party of your life! Big Band Swing, Classic Rock, Motown, Funk and ALL THINGS RETRO are our specialty and we are always willing to do some new stuff too. This would depend on what we get hired to do. We play many different type themed events. We would be on time, organized, very professional and do a fantastic job.

Making your experience fun and easy is our greatest pleasure! The Society Express band offers several affordable pricing options for any size event from a one-man-band, duo, trio to a 4, 5, or 6-8 piece band with horn section.
Our Services Include:
1. We help get you organized via our in-depth consultation package and assist you in creating a well-paced itinerary of events, introductions and announcements.
2. If you are having a wedding ceremony, we will help you organize all the music and the order of procession.
3. We have ceremony musicians available (keys, trumpet, violin, clarinet, guitar).
4. We can provide live music (guitar or keys) OR comp you a powered speaker with CD/mp3 for cocktail entertainment.
4. We let you choose your favorite songs from our 1500 song repertoire. The band leader, Jeni Michelson also sings in over 10 languages.
5. We are glad to learn any special song you have in mind.
7. We offer full Master of Ceremonies, a cordless mic for toasting and a lavalier microphone for the officiant.
8. The Society Express Band has the newest LED stage lighting and continuous DJ during our breaks.
9. We carry a $1,000,000 liability insurance certificate.
10. We will make ourselves available to you 24 hrs. a day via email or text and return ALL calls within a day.
We have squeezed into some tight spaces, but preferably a riser that is 12 ft. deep from the wall and 15-25 ft. across for a 5-8 piece group. We can not play in direct sunlight or temps below 50 (fingers get too cold and horns can't hold their tune) or temps above 99 (we melt!). Concerning rain, it is very important that we do NOT get wet and there needs to be an alternate plan. We will be glad to discuss this in detail. We provide stage lighting and all sound equipment necessary.
