It was probably a bad idea for me to plan my sister’s wedding while living 600 miles away from the venue, house hunting on the other side of the country, and holding down a full time job. It was also probably a bad idea for the usual suspects to haze the poor groom into taking so many shots he lost count the night before. Very few things went according to plan, but April was a calming force throughout. We had to scrap the reception program and replace it with something else suggested by April on the fly. She and her staff rolled with the punches and helped make it look like it was all mostly under control. She also gracefully dealt with some very onerous venue staff to get us packed up and out on time. April handled things with an equal measure of patience and flexibility. In the end, bride and groom were happy and the guests had fun. Thanks to April and staff for everything! Couldn’t have pulled it off without y’all.

April showed up on time, was really efficient at making the drinks for our larger group and even jumped in to help when the head chef needed help serving! She went well above and beyond and I can't recommend her enough!

We had a Surprise bday for our young adult son - 50's Elvis - jukebox theme - and an entire area dedicated to ice cream soda's - root beer floats - old style - and Vanessa was great! She served the guests like she was from the old time Malt Shops! Thank you! Jeri

Matthew came in without much experience, but he was open about it and we had no trouble giving him the instructions and pointers about the work as a wine server. He was a quick learner with a friendly smile and a kind disposition. Our attendees enjoyed talking with him and he did the job just fine. Afterwards, the event hostess asked for his info for another event. Very nice. We are happy with the results and will rely on Gig Salad for our next event.

April was the perfect compliment to the wonderful group of friends gathered. She made sure everyone had what they needed and let me focus on the guest and finishing my cooking. And then made clean up easy!

Wonderful job - great drinks & very professional!

We had reconfirmed for a 4pm setup and she didn't arrive until almost 4:30pm. Guests had already arrived. I called twice and left voicemails but I didn't get any response. She was friendly and very helpful when she arrived and setup but it was concerning that I had no communication to let me know she would be late.

This and That Pros were timely, friendly and so very helpful for our special day. We couldn’t have asked for more!

April and her colleague Nina handled everything at our wine party with perfect ease and expertise. She is efficient, helpful, take charge and a lot of fun. She put me at ease as soon as she and Nina arrived and I enjoyed the whole event. Clean-up and breakdown were taken care of and not a thing left undone. We had a lot of fun with both servers and will definitely invite them to help us in the future. Our guests loved them and as I said not a detail was overlooked. We had 80 guests.

Friendly and efficient. Did a great job

I have been running a catering service for over 16 years. I have my system and schedule on how I normally run my events. When hiring this waitstaff they claimed to have experience and knowledge of what to do for a Formal Event, thus I confided in them and gave them freedom to work their own way.
Here is my review from my interaction with them:

I specifically request for the waiters to arrive with formal uniform, some of them however were wearing vest that did not fit (would not button up, too small) or wearing casual clothing (ex. hat, tennis shoes).
My request was a 4 hour service from 4:00p.m.-8:00p.m., beginning with set-up of water goblets, butter, bread, water and lemonade pitchers, and salad dressings on the tables by 6:00pm which was done on time.

I had a time line to serve and clean the tables (we hired 6 servers with our own additional 6 staff members to provide service to 21 tables with 10 seats each, roughly 190 people. Serving and clean-up time was from 6:00 - 8:00), however there was delays and not a smooth transitions between serving the salad and main dish.
The servers hired were not prepared to run food ( only a few knew how to carry a tray), and were inefficient when picking up plates/ serving main dish with time management, guest left waiting too long.

Also I request to leave tables clean before they left (just water goblets left on the tables),however this was not done I personally had to still pick up plates, silverware, salt and pepper, salad dressing etc after the servers had gone.
We appreciate the waitstaff for the work they did, but it was not up to the standard we expected.

April was great with communication before the event, and she and her helper were on time and took direction well for our party of about 85. They managed cleanup and broke down tables and chairs outside before leaving. Both very personable and professional.

April was a great bartender for our event. She was very responsive with all my pre-event questions and was very courteous with all guests during the event.

Her timeliness, professionalism, resourcefulness as well as being over prepared made for a very successful night.

Angela did such a great job. My Guests absolutely loved her, I got so much much positive feed back from everyone.

I was looking for a bartender to join us for a bachelorette party where we were spending a night in and having a house party. I connected with April and she was amazing throughout the entire experience. We spoke before hand and came up with a plan for what drinks we should serve, and day-of she jumped right in and was on top of everything. She made the evening so much more enjoyable, and she is great to work with. Highly, highly recommend!!!

April has worked with our family for the past two years at all of our family holiday events and she has consistently provided the most exceptional level of service, anticipating very need, and organizing the food and beverage service for the entire evening. She is delightful in her demeanor, and constantly stays 3 steps head of me as a hostess in meeting our guests needs. I highly recommend April for any and all events!

This was a two day event and I was a little worried as I had not used this service before. However April was very polite and had a very pleasant voice when we went over what she needed to make the drinks for both days. She arrived on time each day and was ready to serve with the event started. The drinks were amazing and she even made up a few drinks that I had never had that were amazing. All of the guest and I were very happy with the service.

This was our second time using April's service and as always she was on time and professional at all times. She made several specialty drinks for our guest. There was about 150 guest and she maintained great service and everyone was happy. She is very easy to talk to and always eager to assist.
