This Frontier Needs Heroes is the moniker of singer/songwriter Brad Lauretti. TFNH has spent the past 5+ years playing shows all over the world. Logging thousands of miles in their car, touring the greatest cities of North America and Europe, selling one record at a time, making one fan at a time. This DIY ethos has brought them on an epic journey around the world, playing clubs, house concerts, and festivals.
Originally from Brooklyn, NY they have performed at End of the Road (UK), Reeperbahn (Germany), Incubate (Netherlands), No Mean City (Scotland), Solfest (UK), Festas Di Pilar (Spain), Magnolia Festival, Hickey Fest, Gamble Rogers Folk Festival, Gram Parsons Guitar Pull, Jazz Fest After Dark, One Spark, Folk Alliance International Music Conference, Athfest, Clean Water Music Festival, Connection Festival, Daytrotter, Savannah Stopover, WDVX Blue Plate Special, Stetson Kennedy Foundation Literary Landmark, and Artsville Songwriting Contest.
TFNH has opened for Kath Bloom, Tallest Man on Earth, Handsome Family, Gruff Rhys, Sarah Lee Guthrie, Daniel Romano, Cate Le Bon, and the Traveling Band.
"We're warning you now: You might fall in love with someone in the room during this band's set. So genuine, so commanding, so deceptively simple is TFNH's music that, before you know it, something inside you has shifted - suddenly your staring into someone else's eyes from across the bar." -Folio Weekly (Jacksonville, FL)
We have our own sound system.
