Overview
The Throwback Decades Band performs as a Decades band, a 60s band, 70s band, 80s band & Palm Royale Band for costumed or non costumed themed & non themed events. With Band leader/ vocalist/trumpet player Mark, female vocalist Kathy, this high energy dance family friendly band always packs the dance floor as you can see on their videos. They're available from 2 to 8 pieces & are preferred vendors for Disney & Universal. They will custom fit a performance with costuming & music to fit your specific decade and theme of choice. They’ve opened for Taylor Swift, Matteo Bocelli, & Howie Mandell. Fully self contained with sound, stage lights, dance floor lighting & are fully insured.

Throwback Decades did a superb job at my Palm Royale Theme Party. I chose their 60s theme version and they were amazing. At my request, they played 60’s and 70’s music at dinner then they proceeded to play more contemporary music, getting everyone on the dance floor. Everyone is still talking about the great job they did. Bravo, Mark and the Throwback Decades Band!

We contracted to do a 88th birthday for my dad. This group was amazing - they worked very hard with me to coordinate and be flexible around the weather. The day of the event they decorated the car with a happy birthday banner - brought my dad a crown and made him feel so special. He loved the music and they brought joy to everyone lucky enough to be there. This was the single best birthday I could have done and so thankful for the thoughtful attention and personalized details from this team!

I'm in charge of the entertainment at our retirement community. I hired Mark and Kathy an their show band on wheels to perform for our event. About
The husband & wife team of Mark & Kathy perform in nine of the wildly diverse theme bands they have created. Performing over 100 events annually, Mark & his bands are preferred vendors for Disney World, Universal Studios, Disney Cruise Lines, The House of Blues, and more. Their bands have opened for Howie Mandell, Sting, Taylor Swift, & Fortune 500 Corporations including McDonalds, HGTV, Macy's, & the INC. 5000 Gala Awards as well as Country Clubs, Retirement Communities and Charity Galas.
Mark has performed at Disney World for over 12 yrs, & Kathy at Universal Studios for 8 years. Mark is a Graduate of Rollins College with a BA in Music and Masters in Psychology. Kathy attended the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Art, & Interlochen Arts Academy where she majored in vocal music & acting.
