Tim Buie

Tim Buie is the type of Gentleman who shows up early to diminish any extra stresses from the Client. We show up with old school manners and politeness. You will see Tim Buie doing everything he can to meet and greet and shake hands as if he were running for political office! This solo or dueling piano artist is loaded to play every style of music there is! From Todays hit's to the early 1920's. Rock, Jazz, Sing a Long, Classical, High participation songs, dance music, Country music, blues, parody songs, gospel songs and PARTY MUSIC!!

From Wilmington, North Carolina, Tim Buie showed his passion for piano and music at a young age. In his teens, he auditioned and was accepted in The United States Army Band. He was stationed at the 14th Army Band in Anniston, Alabama. After his honorable discharge after a 4-year stint, Tim moved to Nashville where he became a studio musician playing for artist who needed a pianist!

Tim was offered and excepted a gig in Oslo, Norway with the country band, The Eddie Thompson Band.
After the two-month gig ended, he decided to give the international piano bar circuit a try! He was based out of Oslo, Norway for 20 years.

Since 1986 Tim has traveled and performed in over 40 countries in venues such as piano bars, cruise ships, nightclubs, concert halls, international television, half times shows and more!

Tim set the world on fire by attempting and setting two Guinness World Records for non-stop marathon piano playing! The first world record was 61 hours and 3 minutes! One year later, Tim Buie performed at Rumrunners in Wilmington, North Carolina where he performed for 63 hours and 11 minutes.

He’s the founder of the The Original Piano Entertainers Convention! This event included piano entertainers from around the world.

He’s trained over 200 players who make their living as Professional Piano Entertainers. When you see Tim perform, he jokes that “You better put on your seatbelt, cause the show he performs is high energy, positive and most of all, true fun times!

All equipment is provided by Tim Buie. The client will have no worries when hiring this amazing artist. We will arrive early so we have ample time to set up and do all checks.
