Hi I’m Tim Lacatena, a Los Angeles-based DJ, Saxophonist, and Emcee. From Super Bowl LVII to Villa Medici in Rome and Silicon Valley tech conferences, my goal is to create electrifying experiences. With over a decade in high-end events, I've performed globally for Super Bowl LVII, Google, Gucci, BMW, Adidas, IBM Think, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Alanis Morissette (opening DJ), NEOM Saudi Arabia, Dreamforce, The Emmys, Mercedes-Benz, Montblanc Madison Avenue, Zillow, and the NFL. Tim flew in to Chandler, AZ from L.A. to help me execute a Fire & Ice themed New Year's Eve party. I picked him up from the Airport and after just a little bit of getting to know him I could tell this guy was an adamant professional and a seriously good human in general. Tim was asking questions in a manner that showed he really cared about my guests' experience. I only wish he lived in AZ so we could have him at our places lighting it up all the time.

Tim put his DJing skills to work at the entrance to our annual trade show (something a little different from his usual gigs). He did a fantastic job of getting the crowd pumped for walking the show floor. Tim tailored his playlist to suit the audience and the event while keeping the sound to a level that wasn't too loud (we had a registration desk in close proximity). His professional and compact set-up created a smooth and high-quality performance within a limited amount of space. Tim's pleasant demeanor made him a pleasure to work with and... he showed up on time! All in all, he created a vibrant atmosphere that well suited our event. If I might say, he rocked it!

For the past decade, my blend of live sax with DJ sets has made a lasting impact at high-end events worldwide, combining the versatility of a DJ with the appeal of a live musician.
I DJ events ranging from corporate conferences, cocktail hours, and networking functions to dance parties, festivals, and galas.
Awarded Best of The Bash 2023 & 2022. Starting at $1500 per corporate event (Los Angeles/Orange County). Includes DJ/Sax. Bulk discounts available for steady corporate bookings and multi-day events. Please note, private event pricing is higher than corporate event pricing.
For corporate events in San Diego, Palm Springs, and Santa Barbara, my rate is around $2k, which includes DJ/Sax. For corporate events in Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Phoenix, my all-inclusive travel rate is around $3k (includes travel expenses and DJ/Sax). Multi-day corporate bundle discount rate is around $1.5k - $2k/day, plus travel, based on hours needed.
