Set a relaxing mood for your event with the tropical sounds of steel drums. Tim Shaw Music is perfect for any venue, from a backyard pool party to a large corporate event. He can perform as a small solo act or a full 5-piece calypso party band.
Tim is a veteran of the US Air Force where he served for 20 years as a musician in the USAF Bands program. He has performed all over the world to entertain service members as well as citizens and dignitaries of many nations.

We hired Tim to perform at our annual community pool party in west county. Our residents had nothing but positive things to say! He arrived early, set a wonderful tone for the party, and continued through despite a small weather hiccup. We were very pleased with Tim Shaw! About
Tim Shaw began playing steel drums in 1994 as a founding member of the University of Southern Mississippi Steel Band. After earning a music degree, he continued his education at The University of Iowa where he instructed the UI steel bands as well as the Cornell College steel band. Tim then joined the United States Air Force as a musician, performing for many dignitaries, service members, and citizens throughout the world. Recently retired from 20 years of military service, Tim now performs and teaches in greater St Louis Metro East area.
