Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, Tim Sullivan is an accomplished musician, composer, and artist who has had an outstanding career in music. Inspired by the likes of Classical icons such as, J.S Bach, Beethoven, Sor, and Carulli, Sullivan continues to grace Spotify, YouTube, and other streaming platforms with original and riveting instrumental and classical guitar compositions.

Tim Sullivan’s journey with music has seen him foray into a wide array of professional learning avenues. The prolific artist attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music as a professional music major, and later joined the New England School of Art and Design, specializing in illustration and graphic design. The talented musician also holds a degree in Classical Studies from UMASS Boston, which acquainted him with various musical styles, techniques, and practices.
Currently writing and recording his own instrumental guitar pieces, Tim applies the intricacies of Jazz Theory which he learned and developed at Berklee. Crafting original and memorable compositions on Electric and Acoustic guitar, the skilled artist plays Classical pieces on Fender Stratocaster.
Giving his music a sound that is characteristically his own, Tim Sullivan has dropped an invigorating set of rock instrumentals, titled, “space guitar 1, space guitar 2, and space guitar 3, space guitar 4, space guitar 5, space guitar 6, space guitar 7 , space guitar 8, space echo 1 and space echo 2”, as well as an ambient guitar song, “Angels”. He has also released 3 Irish jigs, “Irish washerwoman”, “St Patrick's Day”, and “Swallowtail jig”, as well as 3 classical guitar recordings of Bach - prelude in C, Jesu joy of man's desiring and Ferdinand Carulli - Waltz and Adante, all of which have been released after December 2021.
With an earnest urge to be unique with his recordings and compositions, Tim Sullivan hopes to weave compositions that draw listeners to a whole new realm of contemplation and rumination. A surreal, outer-body experience is bound to embrace audiences as they defy laws of time space and sounds to internalize the artist’s escapist soundscapes.
The talented artist uses guitar pedals to deliver an original instrumental, atmospheric sound, complemented by guitar warp rhythms. His immersive music touches upon thematic elements such as those of outer space, the creation myth, metronomes and time travel stories, ultimately presenting a futuristic ethos. With his entrancing musical pieces and absorbing guitar work, Tim Sullivan aims to continue recording and creating new and original musical content, as well as win awards and accolades.
