We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! Timothy handled our chaos with patience and grace! He is a phenomenal singer and musician and if you get the chance to have him at one of your events, make sure that you have him perform! Absolutely amazing!

Tim was simply amazing. From start to finish. Well prepped, lots of communication prior to our day. Tim played acoustic guitar for our ceremony and became the dj for the reception and the MC in between. Tim has an amazing voice. All of our guests were complimenting Tim to us all night.

Timothy was so great to work with. We had asked to him to play for our daughters reception which was a small family dinner at a private home. The wedding took place on a beach before the dinner. He offered to stop by the beach before the reception to play a couple of songs on his way to meet us. This really added to our special day. He has a great voice and a played a wide variety of music. We were so lucky to have found him.

Timothy was one of the best parts of our wedding! We wanted live music but our venue was too small for a full band, we lucked out when we found him. He sang and played live music during our ceremony and cocktail hour then DJ'd for the reception. He acted as MC as well and was professional and exceptional in every way. He worked with us to learn the music we like and even learned a Taylor Swift song to perform live for us during our ceremony. We would hire him again in a heartbeat!

I hired him for my 50th birthday celebration in Ojai. I can’t say enough good things about Timothy...professional, on time, amazing voice that crosses over to various artists, knows how to read the crowd and plays the perfect songs, etc. He also saw how much fun we were all having and ended up playing almost an extra hour. I have to say Timothy was the most memorable part of the entire event. All the guests kept raving about him and asking where did I find him. Just an overall nice guy as well.

Tim did an incredible job at our clients Santa Barbara rehearsal dinner! He showed up on time, was very polite and created a great ambiance for a lovely rehearsal dinner. Tim was incredible. He made planning really straightforward and easy. So many guests mentioned how much they enjoyed him playing guitar during our cocktail hour, and when he was DJ-ing during the reception we had to adjust the schedule slightly since everyone was having so much fun dancing!

We chose to have him sing/play guitar during portions of our wedding day and play pre-recorded songs to dance to. What a great wedding musician/ DJ/ MC! Tim played at our wedding at Ragged Point in August of 2019 and did a fantastic job. From the beginning he was communicative via email, did an impromptu call with us to get on the same page, followed-up with questions, etc. On the day of the event, he was early to arrive and setup, came with all of the pro equipment needed, and executed flawlessly. Many of our guests commented on how nice his voice and guitar sounded and we agreed! He also seamlessly went back-and-forth between playing live and DJing, without any of the abrupt transitions I've seen at other weddings- it was really, really smooth! He was able to feel out the crowd's mood to play just the right song at just the right time. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tim!

Timothy Davis was the perfect DJ/musician for our wedding. My husband and I learned about Tim from our wedding coordinator who had been to a wedding where he played. She said he was an exceptional musician and that she could not stop listening to him at a previous wedding she went to. From the beginning, he was the perfect person to work with. He called us and walked us through each component of our wedding to choose the perfect songs. He reminded us of things we hadn’t even thought of! We loved that we were able to work closely with him and that he gave us his time to talk about what we envisioned for our wedding day.

We hired Tim as our reception DJ, for playing live music at our cocktail hour , and for managing the audio for our ceremony. He was able to work with us so that my sister and one of our friends could play for our ceremony. He orchestrated this flawlessly and it turned out even better than I imagined it would! I gave Tim a list of songs he could play before the ceremony started (as guests found their seats) and he ended up learning all of these beautiful Christian songs to play on his guitar at dinner. It was a wonderful surprise! He has an amazing voice and a joyful style of playing that I loved.

The most memorable part of working with Tim was our first dance. My husband and I danced to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” and Tim had talked about potentially playing it live for us. We never really brought it up again before the wedding so we expected to be dancing to a recording. Only a few minutes before the first dance he asked our wedding coordinator if we would like him to play it live and we thought it would be fun! We were astonished that he knew the song by heart and has learned so many songs for this purpose. It was gorgeous and we both agree that our first dance was so much more romantic because of what he did for us.

I don’t even know where to start..wow! Timothy was amazing. First of all, Tim as a singing musician, was magnificent. His voice was amazing and quality of everything was perfect. Honestly there were times when I couldn’t tell he was even signing because I thought it was the real song. Timothy the DJ was the exact same. Tim is a true professional, excellent musician and super nice guy! We had a small birthday gathering with a diverse age-range of guests, and he was able to play something for everyone! Our guests enjoyed his music and talents tremendously and the birthday girl (85 years young) even danced with her husband to the Frank Sinatra songs Tim played. Hope to have the opportunity to have him play for us again.

Tim is so talented as a live musician, and on top of that, he DJs! I could not have found a better solution for our destination wedding in Yosemite. It was scrambling so much to get everything done for my wedding, and not having to worry about music at all really, really helped when it got down to crunch time. I didn't give him much guidance (aside from selecting a few songs), and he was able to build around that to make my wedding day special. Tim was absolutely fantastic! We would hire him again in a heartbeat. Tim got all our requests on point and helped us to make our wedding day extra special. He is relaxed, professional, and just a great guy. Tim is also a master of all music. He was fantastic on the guitar, as well as a brilliant DJ. We had some song requests that required him to go back and forth from guitar to DJ and he did it seamlessly.

I have to give a quick shout out to Tim. We are in no way conservative, but for the sake of avoiding awkwardness, we asked Tim if he could please not play any "sexual" songs, like "Turn me On" by Nora Jones or "Let's Get it On." We found out later that he, on-the-spot and very tactfully, avoided playing "Afternoon Delight" after it was requested by a well-meaning family member. Thank you Tim. You nailed it! <3

Timothy and Bree sang live at our cocktail hour, wedding ceremony and for our first dance. They DJ'ed for our reception. Their song selection is huge and diverse! They learned two new songs in 2 weeks! They made our wedding day so special and we received so many compliments on their performance. They were prompt, profession and fun to work with! I recommend them to anyone i know getting married!

We lucked out so much by finding him. We were thinking we would need to hire multiple people and equipment for what we wanted for our wedding, but Timothy was everything in one package.

He brought his own equipment (lighting, speakers, microphones, etc), did sound checks with the officiant, MC'd the entire night, played live music, sang, and was the DJ for the reception. My wife, myself, and all of our guests were blown away.

We couldn't ask for anyone better. When my wife and I were searching for a musician it was difficult to find someone that fit in our budget, can dj, play guitar, sing, and mc! Timothy Davis was really easy to work with. His responses over email were so quick. He was prepared with any questions we had. He sent over a huge list of songs he could sing and play! We had a song in mind to have him play while we walked down the aisle and he had it! He is so versatile in the many styles and his singing style was perfect for a wedding. All the guests kept complimenting on how awesome he sounded. Many of my friends danced together to his singing and guitar playing. When the DJ set came he was able to read the room and play the perfect song every time. He noticed when we were together on the dance floor and threw on our favorite song to dance to. We got very lucky finding Tim and could not have asked for a better wedding singer, dj and MC for our wedding in March of 2018. At first when planning my wedding, I was thinking about not even hiring a DJ. Booking Timothy Davis was one of the best decisions I made. He was always easily accessible and easy to reach. Not only did he play the music, but he kept to the timeline I made and was sure that the reception went smoothly. My husband and I were married on May 20th, 2016. It was important to us that we had an intimate feel, even though our guest list hit over 130. A singer songwriter was the perfect solution and Tim was the perfect fit! He is an extraordinary musician with an amazing voice! He played live acoustic music for the guests arrival, learned a duet to sing with my sister-in-law, played our favorite songs for the ceremony and then played beautiful acoustic songs during cocktails and dinner. As if that weren't enough, he then set up as the DJ and got the party started. It was the first time I've been to a wedding where the dance floor was never empty. We hired Timothy to perform at our outdoor wedding in Santa Barbara after vetting a lot of other musicians - And I am so glad we did!!! From the moment of first contact, we knew Timothy was the perfect fit for us. He had excellent communication and follow through and made the process simple and seamless for us. After having a last minute cancellation the night before my party I was desperate to find another musician. I was frantically sending out emails late night and I was able to get in contact with Tim. He responded to my email within a matter of minutes and was very professional and accommodating and gladly agreed to play at my party. He was already booked that day for a wedding but agreed to come straight over from an hour away and play. I have been getting a ton of great feedback and compliments from everybody about how much they enjoyed his music and company. People even asked for his contact info to have him at their next event. He played a little something for everybody covering a wide range of songs. He played straight though all 3 hours only taking a break when we brought out the cake and sang happy birthday and were using his mic to make speeches. He showed up well on time and started playing right on the dot. He looked very sharp and presentable and I would highly recommend Tim to anybody looking for great live entertainment at their next party/event. We hired Timothy Davis for a crab boil/40th birthday party and all I can say is that Timothy is an amazing musician and a true professional. Timothy, it is going to be hard for me to express in words how awesome of a Valentine's Day I had with my husband because of your talent. My husband planned a surprise, rooftop dinner for me for Valentine's Day. It is the year of our 10th wedding anniversary, and we needed to rekindle some romance after 3 children and busy schedules including college and full time jobs. He hired Tim to play his guitar and sing for us on this night. It was a private dinner, there was just my husband and I and Timothy. I still remember walking onto the rooftop and then turning a corner and Timothy started playing his guitar and my breathe was just taken away. Ok, it seriously felt like I was Meg Ryan in the rooftop dinner scene on Kate & Leopold. So to focus on Tim's performance specifically though, I was so impressed by his beautiful voice and music. As my husband and I enjoyed our dinner and danced with each other under the stars I closed my eyes and just listened to his singing. I could've listened to him for hours. I know this sounds cheesy, but this night is a night I will never forget. I hadn't slow danced with my husband in probably a few years and being there with him literally under the stars with Timothy's voice and music, I was simply, so content... with everything. I didn't want that moment to ever end. So I want to thank Tim so much for everything he did for us. My husband called him up and Tim asked what kind of music we were interested in and so my husband gave him a list of songs to play and Tim also had wonderful suggestions. The entire playlist was just perfect. He played a wonderful variety of romantic songs that was just perfect for our occasion. My husband paid him to play for an hour and he happily continued on for over an hour. He was such a sweet person, happy to be there sharing this moment with us. His personality and talent are superb and we have never been able to find anyone quite like him. He was just our style, casual, yet professional and his music was just amazing. I am definitely keeping his information so whenever we need entertainment for another event he will be our guy. He won't disappoint, I guarantee. He was also so reasonably priced and was grateful for our business. I really appreciated his personality and talent. Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoy him as much as we did that special night.

Myself and my guests loved listening to Timothy's beautiful music for three hours. His music was a BIG hit for my 50th birthday party.
