Tina swings and sings with a pure, unaffected tone that brings a sweet sensibility to the classic jazz standards and repertoire of the Great American Songbook. She is experienced in performing at weddings, private events, wineries/restaurants, and festivals.
TinaHashemiJazz and Friends preformed for our group today! It was absolutely wonderful! She sings like and angel, has a great range. I asked her to Scat and Scat she did! it was fabulous! They were on time, set up quickly and got the show on the road. I would recommend her highly, Super talent and great to work with!

Tina Hashemi is a jazz singer who recently graduated from the University of Virginia, where she studied music performance and jazz voice under Stephanie Nakasian, Danielle Wertz, and John D’earth. In her final year, she completed an album of originals and standards entitled Nobody’s Heart. Tina continues to perform regularly with the UVA Jazz Ensemble, John D’earth, and her own band throughout Virginia at a variety of venues. She brings a sweet sensibility to classic jazz standards and never sings them the same way twice!
