Somewhere between storybook princess, clown, drag-performer, and animal mascot lives Tinka Boudit. Tinka Boudit is an event catalyst for all-ages. A fixture at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival since 2019, this original character is a master riddler, jokester, event host, wandering entertainer, wedding officiant, and more. She can tailor her uniform and act to fit in or stand out at your event. When it comes to talent, she has great enthusiasm.
We invited Tinka to be part of our craft beer fundraiser to engage with event attendees and sell raffle tickets. Tinka (and her partner Puck) helped us raise almost $10,000 for our food shelf (in just over an hour!) with her infectious energy and fun personality. Tinka was great to work with and our attendees loved having her at the event! Already looking forward to next year!
Response from Tinka Boudit:
It was a wonderful event to be a part of. Thank you Leigh for organizing such a safe and fun event and letting us share in the success of the fundraising for the food shelf.

Tinka is someone who is placed within your event to hype it up. While enthusiastic and meant to stand out, she is not meant to be the event's main focus, but meant to highlight the event itself. Think of your event as a main dish: Tinka is the special sauce to make it a signature event to remember.
A hired experience with Tinka Boudit first includes a consult to fit your event needs.
Previous experience include:
-Writing and hosting bar riddle competition (A la bar trivia)
-Writing and hosting a stage competition of mini games (A la 'Minute to Win It')
-Entertainment cast for The Minnesota Renaissance Festival 2019-Present, Newbourne Village River Falls Wisconsin '22-'23, Arizona Renaissance Festival 2023
-Engaging event visitor with jokes, games, riddles, trivia, and more in a one-on-one or group setting
-Fundraising within an event
-Event hosting, emceeing, and announcing
-Wedding officiant: licensed and ordained
-Light crowd control
Other ideas:
-Game night host
-Dinner party host
-Birthday party entertainment
-Senior Living entertainment
-Santa Claus' assistant
Depending on the event and your needs, Tinka works with various performance partners that can be brought in to share duties.
After working full time in hospitality, customer service, and sales for over 20 years, Sara was ready to take those skills and turn them into something more creative.
In 2016, Tinka Boudit was born just before age 30 on stage with an amateur burlesque performance and no antlers. That same year, she appeared as a peasant at the Siouxland Renaissance Festival, her first ever renaissance festival performance. After two days greeting people at the gates, a veteran photographer of the event asked, "How many years have you been a renaissance performer?" Tinka responded with, "This is my first time ever."
Over the next three years, there were additional appearances as a peasant, modeling, and more burlesque performances. In 2018, she grew her horns for the first time for an audition for the Minnesota Renaissance Festival and joined the cast the following year. In 2023, she founded her own team of performers known as 'The Sidequest Players' prominently featured on the grounds of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival.
Tinka's creative growth was not a solely upward climb. While the 18 months following March of 2020 were known for COVID and lockdown, she spent her time reeling through a BRCA2 diagnosis, botched surgeries, and recovery. Now fully recovered with no signs of a hospital in the future, she looks forward to taking Tinka to new heights and places.
Not typically a stage act. However I do have a small, single microphone/amplification system I can wear.
