Thankful for playing! It was wonderful!!!
Saxophone Player
Max was a perfect addition to the Celebration of Life held this week for my 92 year old father. We communicated prior to the event and he took my guidance to heart, finding just the right tone is creating an atmosphere that was exactly what we needed. It might be strange to say that people enjoyed a funeral but honestly, this was one for the ages and Max was a big part of what made it all so unique and special. I wouldn't hesitate to call on his talent again for any occasion, and look forward to doing just that on what I hope will be a true joyous occasion. Thanks Again Max!

What to Expect
I work with each client to ensure the best possible experience for your event. Keyboards cover an extremely wide range of music, and I'm excited to bring your music to life.
I try to be as much of a chameleon as possible in this way. For a lively, outdoor summer gathering, you could expect plenty of funk, pop, and disco. For more intimate occasions, I stick to jazz standards, showtunes, and popular ballads. With enough advance practice, I can host live karaoke for any songs you would like!
Of course, I come fully prepared for all with all the classic crowd favorite piano jams played at weddings and parties -- "Don't Stop Believin', Bohemian Rhapsody, Piano Man, A Thousand Miles, etc."
I have flexible booking and payment options, and am available for recurring appearances.
About
A former student of jazz fusion artist and Berklee College of Music Professor Steve Hunt, Max performed extensively as a student, and won the Louis Armstrong Jazz Excellence award. Max’s thirst for knowledge and performance blossomed as he graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from MIT, and a Minor in music. Max performed with various combos and student groups, most notably with the MIT Festival Jazz Ensemble under Fred Harris. Max appears on the FJE recording of Chick Corea’s first original Big Band composition, “From Forever”. Max spent three years as Orchestral Director of Northeastern University’s “NUStage” student productions, culminating in an original work “The Seven Deadly Sins”. Lessons, tunings, and recurring performances available
