Toadstool Shadow is a folk trio from Chillicothe, Ohio that aims to entertain. Sung in perfect two-part female harmony, our all original songs sound like the musical children of "Yellow Submarine" and "Puff the Magic Dragon." Instead of singing tearful songs of heartbreak and woe, Toadstool Shadow sings songs about mermaids, horses, and frogs, with titles like "The Apple Who Fell Far from the Tree" and "The Old Dog Who Learned a New Trick."

Toadstool Shadow entertains. We smile. Our goal is to amuse and beguile with something different. The music sounds folky, just guitar and two incredible female harmony singers, with great melodies and harmonies. Instead of intense love songs, we sings songs about apples, dogs, horses, leprechauns, and frogs. Like the Beatles "Yellow Submarine," it's music that people of all ages can enjoy.
Toadstool Shadow is a folk trio from Chillicothe, Ohio. Three cousins, they have entertained festival audiences across southern Ohio since 2023. Their all-original songs are about things like horses, mermaids, and corn, all sung in sunshiny two-part female harmony. Mixing music and humor, Toadstool Shadow seamlessly synthesizes the silly, the serious, and the surreal. Their goal is to provide family-friendly entertainment that is fun for both kids and adults.
