Balloon twisters making balloon animals that look like art, its magic! Balloon Twisting Entertainment is not the only superpower Tobi brings to the party! As a part time teacher, Tobi explains static electricity, keeps the children engaged in the balloon making process by turning them into "helpers", and show them a little balloon magic every few minutes. Tobi visits preschools for celebrations like fall festivals, open houses, parent's night out, school carnival, Christmas Parties on Monday's and Wednesdays and is available for birthdays and large corporate events on Friday and Saturdays.
Tobi was exceptional! Everyone loved her, adults included. I had multiple people come up to me and tell me how talented she is and how amazing her balloon designs were. Tobi made balloons you didn’t even think could be possible! She was on time and ready for the party. Thanks for helping make our daughter’s day so special.
We had Tobi visit for my youngest daughter's birthday and all the kids had a blast! We had booked Tobi before and it really made the birthday fun for all the kids. She is so interactive and lively with the kids and they were all so excited to see the different balloons she could twist! We also did face painting which all the kids enjoyed. I recommend Tobi for your event, you would not be disappointed! : )
We booked Tobi for my daughter's 8th birthday party for face painting and balloons. She arrived early and was set up before the guests arrived. She was very interactive with all the kids and they were so amazed by the fun balloon creations she could make. We didn't have as many kids at the party as we had hoped/anticipated, so we only had Tobi for an hour, but she created such a great atmosphere for the kids. Next time I will plan for a longer party so she can stay longer. The kids were really bummed when she had to go! I completely recommend Tobi for any kids event as she is very kind, interactive, and really made my daughter's birthday eventful. I plan to use Tobi for future parties and suggest you do too! When performing as a balloon artist, the audience will witness a variety of balloon creations from 3 foot crazy hats to Unicorns with a braided mane and golden horn. Each event is unique, so it is a performer's job to estimate the number of children at an event and provide balloons at a pace that will meet the needs of the client. Tobi has years of experience with large event balloon twisting and brings a very high level of professionalism and patience to the table. When dealing with hundreds of children, this is a crucial trait for any performing artist.
Tobi McJunkin is an award-winning balloon artist and provides balloon twisting at all types and sizes of events for all occasions. Tobi specializes in children's birthday parties but is available to larger events as well.
Tobi has two children of her own that continue to inspire her passion of balloon modelling. Each time a new children's movie comes out, a new balloon design must be made. Just the type of challenges that keep this lady motivated!
Since the majority of the type of venues a balloon twister will perform are birthday parties and corporate events, it is critical to have light (to see the balloon colors), space to allow a crowd of 50 children to gather or form a line, to have a chair or small table (to set a balloon bag at the correct height), and parental support (kids may need a friendly reminder of manners in a crowd and the balloon artist will be way too busy with the 3 children in front to be able to deal with this.)
LARGE EVENT?
Ending the line: All good things must come to an end and a balloon artist will need some help leaving the venue at the end of the time they were hired. This means closing the line approx 15 minutes early and having a staff member stand at the end of the line to deal with the parent that is not going to be happy when they can't get a balloon for their little boy. (Offering stickers, helium balloons used for the event decor, or other items of value can ease tension.) Also pre-arranging for the balloon artist to stay an additional 30 minutes, if needed, can help when there is a high demand.
Tickets: When you have a large crowd and need to ensure that children do not re-enter the line to receive additional balloons, handing out tickets is a good option.
