I'm a pro drummer living in SD, CA with 20 plus years of experience performing, touring, and recording. I have toured with Karl Denson's Tiny Universe. I recently played a gig with Grammy country singer/songwriter Paul Overstreet. I perform regularly in SD and southern Cal - with jazz artists, original artists, cover bands, wedding bands, show bands, big bands, and world music groups. I often play with a click track for sequence shows. I write charts for new music to ensure a pro performance. I map out and program a metronome to the exact tempos of every tune on my set list for each show - specifically for dance/pop music where tempo is extremely critical. I bring the appropriate drum kit for the music I will be playing. If needed I bring my own microphones and I sub-mix my drum kit and send a stereo/mon signal to the main P.A. system. For monitoring I use a set of Westone UM 2 in-ear monitors.
I am a team player, detail oriented, reliable and I enjoy what I do. I would be glad to give references upon request.
