Hired Tom for 75th B-day off Gigsalad.. Easy to communicate with beforehand. Very personable. Had about 45 people. Would take all request and let us sing and play along. Great time. Would hire again'

This was our second time booking Tom for a company event, and he was just as great as the first time!

Tom performed for the Central States Club February 22nd. He arrived on time and did an excellent job! He asked for requests. Some were difficult pieces to play and aced them all! Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I heard many positive comments as people were leaving. Book him. You won't be sorry and his price was very reasonable.

Tom played whatever type of music that was requested! He is a very nice guy and we would hire him again!

Tom was just terrific and friendly. He went out of his way to learn a new song in just a matter of a few days and nailed it! He really listened to what I envisioned and followed thru. Highly recommend!

A message from Elizabeth - "What a wonderful treat! Gregg kept insisting that we go to dinner early. We had to be back by 6:30 pm. Since we’re having the house painted, I thought he had a meeting with the painter to discuss the schedule. When we drove up, a strange car was in our driveway. Tom Evan greeted us and said friends had sent me a surprise because I’d had a rough week. We invited him into our home, and he proceeded to play ALL my favorite Julie Andrews tunes. Best of all, he didn’t mind that I mouthed the lyrics which drives Gregg crazy. He treated me to a half-hour concert, and we talked for another half-hour. We had a lot in common; he was born in Massachusetts and had similar tastes in music and life experiences. It made me feel special and brightened my mood. Tom came and performed for my office manager's birthday! I walked in to nothing but smiles from everyone on what a great performer and how much fun it was. He sung in English, Spanish, and Italian while improvising for our Egyptian! Thank you for a great event!

Tom filled our celebration with wonderful music. He sang and played all requested songs, along with others from his extensive repertoire. Tom even sang some Spanish tunes we’d selected. Did a phenomenal birthday experience experience from my father-in-law. My father law loves country music and Tom delivered the best songs! My father must spend a great deal of his time clapping his hands and singing.

We found Tom Evan's profile on GigSalad and are SO happy we did! We hired Tom to sing and play at my mom's 90th birthday party at a private room in a restaurant. FABULOUS!! He came in and was ready to play within 5 minutes. His repetoire is very versatile - which was great since we had old people, young people, and 3 different languages (English, Italian, Spanish). He knows all the great classics (American, Irish, Italian and South American popular songs) that get everyone singing and dancing. There was an obscure Irish song I requested that he did not know, and he offered to learn it before the party!!! It was already a fun-loving group of people and he just made it even that much more fun and amazing and lively. We would hire him again in a heartbeat! Other pluses - he communicated with me before the party, I sent him a favorites list, and he played them all beautifully. He has a great personallity and interacted with the guest, and treated my mom like GOLD!!!

Tom was absolutely Amazing! I needed something, last minute, and he delivered! And not only did he make my aunt feel special on her birthday, he stayed an extra hour! I was unable to be with my older brother for his birthday for a second year in a row and feeling very badly about that! We had a multigenerational zoom and everyone was entertained. My 80 year old dad loved it.

We have used Tom several times for our virtual family celebrations. Such talent and personality comes through and leaves everyone smiling and wanting more. Much more memorable than flowers or another trinket that will sit on the shelf.

I booked Tom to deliver a virtual Happy Birthday wish to our school principal as a surprise. Due to technology issues at our school, I could not receive Tom’s emails so we could not open his virtual link. So he and I tried outside of school and it worked. The next day when it was time to perform, we tried again and no luck at school. We tried switching from Zoom to Microsoft teams, and some other things, basically exhausting Tom to all extent. Finally it worked and Tom delivered an outstanding performance that knocked my Principal’s socks off!!!! He spent so much of his time trying anything to get this to work and never complained or charged us more money. He did whatever he could to get this show on the road and did it with a smile.!!! You can watch this video to see how amazing he was and how surprised our principal was. We are going to book him again to come to our school for a courtyard performance. Could not ask for a better person and performer. Book him now!!!

Tom knocked this one out of the park with the customized song list. My sister was thrilled to be serenaded with songs special to both of us - and I could participate in the call even though we are in different states, thanks to the technology and Google Duo. Much more meaningful than flowers or more junk we don't need.

Just what we needed for a socially distanced birthday for an 80 something year old. Tom is a great entertainer and musician.

I wanted a special gift for my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary. They love live music. This allowed me to participate, enjoy the music and send them this singing telegram, which ended up being a Zoom video. They will love it. I expected Tom to do 2 songs and he did 4. He even told a joke. So fun and interactive. Total professional. He was patient with me too while I gathered the peanut gallery to coordinate. Thanks Tom.

I feel like Tom is my brother, actually he almost is. I had the good fortune of living with his family for many, many years. Many times, many family events Tom and I would provide the entertainment. Tom on the guitar and singing, myself on the piano and singing. Although we weren’t blood brothers, we clicked immediately. It’s been many years since we’ve been together but I watch him every chance I can. I’m so proud of my brother and he doesn’t need anyone else with him to provide a great evening, or anytime to provide the most versatile entertainment you’ve heard. Tom is a friendly, extremely tallent musician with an understanding of the human spirit. After giving him a few details of my mid-80 year old father in law's life and taste in music, he delivered the perfect virtual mini-concert - singing telegram complete with the request corny jokes. Received one of the best compliments from my father-in-law who isn't much for praise. "That was pretty neat" with a big smile.

Note for next time - make sure the in-laws have their phone battery charged first.

Tom came and played for our church dinner party. Friendly and nice guy and played requests and music propriate for our group. Talented and a pleasure to have . Will hire him again in the future as opportunity allows.

I am a retired entertainer myself. Having spent nearly 40 years on stage I can completely appreciate Tom's efforts and his professionalism.
He was contracted to do an Elvis impersonation. At the last minute I discovered there had already been an Elvis impersonator to that address earlier that day.
He was more than willing to shift gears and put on a cowboy hat and taking an entirely different stab at it.
He made everybody in the house smile and 3 days later I am still getting phone calls about his performance. I would recommend Tom Evan to anybody who needs an entertainer.

I hired Tom to perform at my sister-in-laws private birthday party and I am glad that i did. Did a great job

Took my 9-year-old son to Luckys in Clermont see how a musician does a show. He is learning to play the guitar and wanted to see how it all worked. We stayed for over 2 hours - we both enjoyed the music. MY son was mesmerized. He asked if we can see him every time he comes to Clermont. I said sure :-)

He delivered quality music beyond our expectations! The 87th Birthday Party for Mom was a hit!! He played anything my Mom wanted to hear, which was just amazing considering all the "old" Irish songs. I hosted a progressive house party with three other families. Roughly 40 people (ages 40-75) walked from house to house and Tom came along!!! He played for a little over an hour at each house and did not miss a beat! He had the guests engaged and dancing from the first house on. His vast and diverse catalog of songs met the needs of everyone at the party. I would highly recommend him for any type of party.

Tom Evan was the perfect compliment to the evening we had planned for our parents 50th Anniversary celebration. We hired Tom for my birthday party at the pavilion in my neighborhood. At the time the party was supposed to start we had a very heavy thunderstorm. The wind was blowing through the pavilion and the rain was beating on the roof. Tom picked up his guitar and started singing "Pennies from Heaven". As the storm persisted Tom kept on entertaining. The storm finally passed in about a 1/2 hour and the rest of the guests arrived. Tom entertained us for 4 hours with a great variety of tunes. His voice is excellent. On the breaks he mingled with all the guests and became part of the party. We enjoyed Tom immensely and recommend him to anyone for their event

Tom had the group clapping and singing along with him. This was a national awards dinner. He added fun and joy to the event. It loosened up the group and made a special night, all the more special. Best investment that i have made in entertainment. I will try to et him again the next time I am in Orlando, even if it is just for my wife and I as we are dining!!

Tom played for over 160 individuals at a dinner at an international conference we held in Orlando, Florida. He was wonderful, working with a tough crowd...who had spend all day learning how to protect their families from hereditary cancer. With a big smile, a beautiful attitude and some great showmanship, he had the crowd feeling great, comfortable and upbeat! He was exactly what we hoped for and more....he is an angel and we are so very grateful to him! It was the best night ever...and the best conference anyone could have attended, thanks to Tom and others.

Tom and JR did a great job for our event at the Winter Park Farmers Market. They worked very well together and had a vast musical selection to choose from for a tropical theme.

I can't say enough good things about Tom and the way he came through for me for my father's memorial. His musicianship and professionalism were outstanding, but more than that, he cared about making the service for my father special. I also appreciate that he reached out to the vocalist to rehearse before the event, and it all went flawlessly. And Tom is just a super nice person to work with! I couldn't be happier with the way it all came together.

I contacted Tom Evan about delivering a singing birthday telegram 3 days before the event and I couldn't be happier with the result! Tom suggested that we turn the singing telegram into a bit more by offering to dress as a pirate for the pirate-themed 50th birthday party, then suggested adding the Jimmy Buffet tune "A Pirate Looks at 40" with a tweak to make it fit a 50th birthday theme. I live in Alabama and was unable to attend the party in Oviedo, Fl and the feedback I have received regarding Tom's performance has been extremely favorable - they loved him! He even performed an encore of "Freebird" as requested by some of the guests! I personally have never met Tom and was very pleased with his communication with me before and after the event. He kept in constant contact with me on a daily basis, making sure he understood exactly what I wanted from him during the performance and he was a pleasure to work with for this ocassion. I highly recommend Tom for any of your entertainment needs and I look forward to working with him in the future!
