The Tom Sartori Band is the group you see in movies and wish to yourself you could have at your wedding. Everything from the wide range of hits to MC performance was better than we could've ever dreamed of. The dance floor was packed from the first minute to the last-- what more could you ask for!
Live music is a great vibe for any wedding and Tom Sartori and his band didn’t disappoint! They provided live music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Tom was extremely accommodating with our discriminating music choices. He has beautiful ceremony and reception music options and he chose fun pieces to keep people on the dance floor all night long. I highly recommend Tom Sartori and his band for your next event.
Booking with Tom was singlehandedly the best decision we could have made for our wedding!! We went back and forth between a DJ or a band, and looking back now I can't imagine our wedding would have been half as fun if we booked with a DJ. Tom and his band absolutely ROCKED and people STILL compliment them when talking about our wedding. They kept the dance floor packed all night!! They were so accommodating with all of our requests, and made everything happen so seamlessly on the day of. One of my favorite parts was that with our first dance (we wanted the original played) they had the fiddle player playing along with it - this made it so much more special! Thanks so much Tom, y'all seriously ROCKED! I wish we could get married again just to party with y'all again!!! :)
We started following Tom a bit ago online. And seeing how amazing he was our expectations were high. He even blew our high expectations out of the water. It’s been 3 days after my wedding now and Im still getting messages from friends how amazing the band was. Tom had the dance floor moving endlessly. He had non stop interactions with the guest and was taking any request on demand. Was blown away how someone can cover every possible genre. Communication with Tom from the start was within minutes for any questions we needed over the months leading up to the wedding. Tom and his fiddle player tanner gave our guests, my wife and I a night we will never forget. My advice is book them with no hesitation and don’t look back, You won’t regret it. They were by far the highlight to the wedding. And I can never thank them enough.
Let me start by saying, we changed our first dance song last minute from Van Morrison to Tom Sartori live because he was that good! My wife and I were so blown away and impressed listening to Tom warm up that we cancelled our first dance song recording with Van Morrison, and instead ask Tom to play something live for us. Hearing Tom in person is indescribable. His voice, musical and performance skills are off the charts!
Our experience: my wife and I chose Tom Sartori after searching and interviewing many bands for our wedding. Just prior to covid we were planning for a large wedding in the FL Keys and wanted Tom and his band to perform. We signed a contract but then covid happened. I found Tom incredibly professional and understanding of the changing circumstances. He was flexible in coming up an agreement that made all parties happy. We ended up having a very small backyard wedding with just our parents, siblings and daughters. Tom ended up bringing just one other musician (violinist) and wow did they crush it together! I was initially concerned if a band was overkill for such a small wedding but Toms band was absolutely perfect! As my family arrived, the violinist played all sorts of classical and traditional music as well as new and modern genres (very cool on a Violin). Then during the dinner, Tom started playing. My wife and I were so impressed that we last minute cancelled the Van Morrison recording for our dance and said, “Tom, just play something and we’ll dance”. He played “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran...and it was truly “perfect.” I think Tom’s version of the song is way better than Ed’s -honest to God. Book Tom for your next party...you can’t go wrong. This guy should be more famous than he already is!
Tom was exactly what we wanted for our outdoor wedding rehearsal party at the Miami Beach Edition . 200 plus people enjoyed a wide range of music . Tom played many instruments. He is a fabulous entertainer!
I regretfully booked Tom Sartori for my wedding. Leading up to my wedding he was very unresponsive and unwilling to get back to me regarding questions I had. He continued to call me by the wrong name when he actually did get back to me and would go on and on about how busy he was. That is fine, I'm glad he was busy... I thought that was a good sign. After blowing me off for months, I never spoke with him before my wedding day. He told me he was "too busy" to speak with me so I talked with his violinist (Jaron) and DJ (Danny Bub) who both were actually amazing to work with. However, I hired Tom Sartori for my wedding. Once we got to my actual wedding day I spoke with Danny Bub in the morning to go over final details... it was concerning when he asked me questions that he should have already known, if he had actually spoken with Tom... however it was my wedding day and I was going to stress out. Tom ended up showing up AFTER 7pm when he was supposed to play my ceremony which started at 4, guests were arriving around 330. He was then supposed to provide music for my cocktail hour. Then he's 2.5 hours late to my reception. He made NO effort to contact me during the day and once he did finally arrive he said he was "sick". My coordinator informed his bandmates that they needed to contact me to see how I wanted the day to go since he wasn't going to be there. But no one contacted me or even asked me how I wanted MY day to go now. Tom just did what "he thought was best". I guess he thought I just wouldn't notice that he wasn't playing my ceremony, cocktail hour and wasn't there when my reception started. He was completely unprofessional by announcing to my entire wedding that he had to get "shot up with needles because he was so sick and got in a car accident on the way" and then on break walked around the reception holding his neck causing a huge scene. Bottom line, don't hire Tom Sartori, especially if it is for your wedding. I would give him zero stars if I could. He never offered to make it right, didn't apologize and lacked professionalism in all forms of communication, verbally and written.
*Gigsalad did their best at offering me a fair refund and I will definitely work with them again.
Response from Tom Sartori:
This is an incredible work if fiction, from a client who was continually trying to get discounts thru the entire process. Who's credit card was declined multiple times. This was her attempt to get Gigsalad to refund her money.
After review and investigation, Gigsalad uncovered many fabrications. I again ask that they remove this falsified review
To anyone reading thru my reviews, I would encourage you to look thru EVERY other review. Each one a perfect 5 star review. All 30 on this site. 30 perfect 5 stars.... and this one. Further more, the hundred or so other reviews online- all perfect 5 stars. There are no 2 stars, 3 stars, 4 stars.... ALL PERFECT 5 STARS. From appreciative clients who rave about not only our performance, but also our professionalism
They say there are "one of those" in every bunch. This is the one.
Yes, I was extremely sick that afternoon (my glands were the size of golf balls and I could barely talk). But after an emergency trip to the doctor I was able to sing. Using my absence during the cocktail hour (cocktail hour only, due to emergency medical treatment). As an attempt to get a massive discount on an entire days event-
Violin for ceremony
Violin for cocktail hour
Dj service for dinner and band breaks
The 4 piece Tom Sartori for after dinner dancing
MC service for introductions
Sound equipment rental
Lighting rental
2 event coordinators that catered To her every need for 6 months
We did not miss the ceremony or cocktail hour, like she said. I hire the absolute best musicians in the business to fill that portion of the evening. When I did arrive to perform for the "dance" portion of be evening, the dance floor was packed.
All completed to perfection... besides the cocktail hour due to illness.
Our reputation speaks for itself. I request that Gigsalad removes this review since it is mainly fiction, filled with lies and Inaccuracies
And FYI- this client still owes us $700 for extra D
When planning our daughter’s wedding, she of course wanted a beautiful ceremony and to share it with the people who were important to her throughout her life. Though such things as flowers, food and the wedding cake needed to be considered, the one thing our daughter really wanted more than anything else was a great live band that would create an after-party event everyone would remember. Our extensive search for such a band led us to Tom Sartori. From our first conversation with Tom (yes, with Tom himself and not a third-party agency) we knew it was the right choice. Some people have a way of making your wishes and concerns theirs. He is such a person. He listened to our vision, answered all of our questions, addressed all of our concerns, displayed uncommon patience as details changed and on the day of the event, he was the consummate professional. We could not have asked for a more talented and charismatic entertainer and musician. And the music, wow! What a band (six piece)! Cranking out hits from various genres and multiple decades, whether fast or slow, the band gave it everything they had and the dance floor was packed the entire night. If you closed your eyes you would not have known you were not actually listening to Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Zac Brown Band, Maroon 5, Skynyrd, Bon Jovi, Outcast, Walk the Moon or any other of your favorites. Each and every member of the band was a credit to their profession making every song a crowd favorite. Throughout the evening, our guests continually raved about the band and it became quite evident early on our choice of the Tom Sartori Band was the best we could have made. When at the end of the evening, the music finally ended, the dance floor was still full with those dancing asking for more. So yes, our daughter got her wish for a great live band and the Tom Sartori Band delivered the goods making it a night everyone will remember for years to come.
Response from Tom Sartori:
Thank you guys! It was truly a pleasure to take part of your daughters special day. It was a very beautiful wedding!
Tom was an absolute hit at our wedding!! I can not say enough good about him. He was so easy to work with and made the vibe exactly what we’d hoped for. He is beyond talented and I was blown away. Everyone commented on what an amazing musician we had and how much they enjoyed every song he played. I can’t imagine our wedding without Tom apart of it! Thank you, Tom!!
Tom was excellent! He arrived early with his assistant, set up and was ready to go. Everyone at the event was extremely impressed with him. On such short notice, we were lucky to find such a talented performer. Thank you for making our event one to remember - we will be utilizing his services again in the future, without a doubt!
Response from Tom Sartori:
Hi Will! It was a true please meeting you. I'm so glad your guests enjoyed the show! Definitely stay in touch
Keith was great. Song selections were perfect.
Experience from beginning to end was amazing! Our clients are high end yacht owners and very challenging to please. Tom is beyond talented. His videos do not do him justice. All were so impressed.
Great show and very professional. My customers were really impressed with the performance and song selection.
Response from Tom Sartori:
Thank you Chad! It was truly a pleasure
Booking a band on-line can be a little nerve racking but Tom Sartori delivered everything and more. We received many compliments on the band. Thank you for making my daughter's wedding such a fun event. I haven't danced that much in years!
Response from Tom Sartori:
Thank you Eileen! It was a real pleasure. Beautiful wedding!
Tom is such a great performer! His one man band was perfect for our event and our guests loved him. He brought everything he needed and his set up was pretty quick. I will totally hire him again.
Response from Tom Sartori:
Thank you Camille! It was a pleasure performing for your crew! Enjoy the rest of your trip to ORLANDO!
Tom was nothing short of amazing. We had a 60-person college graduation party and literally everyone commented on Tom; his great song choice, his amazing vocals and his talent with several instruments. I was thrilled and would highly recommend Tom for any occasion. Easy to deal with. Super personable. And answered every crazy question I had leading up to our event. Can't wait to throw another party so we can hire Tom Sartori !!!
I'm not even sure how to put into words how amazing the Tom Sartori Band were at my wedding. Besides being nice, easygoing guys, they are some of the most talented musicians I've ever seen perform. I had a beach wedding/reception and gave Tom a general idea of the kind of music I wanted for the night. Rather than bug me with the playlist, Tom took care it himself, knowing I had so many other things to worry about... And it was PERFECT! There were songs for everyone - oldies, country, pop, you name it. I booked the 4 piece band and everything they played sounded so amazing. The entire night I had my guests coming up to me telling me it was the best band they'd ever heard at a wedding, and I agree completely! Half way through the song that my husband and mother-in-law were dancing to, there was a torrential downpour. Rather than stop playing and run for cover to protect their instruments, the band continued to play through the whole song, not wanting to ruin my husband and mother-in-law's moment; that's just how amazing these guys are (not many bands would do that!). To top it off, they moved into our backup venue and played longer than we originally booked them for. Had they not done this, I would have had my guests dancing to songs playing off my phone the whole night. They literally saved the day. They took requests, and knew every single song we asked for. In my opinion, bands either make or break a wedding reception. The Tom Sartori Band were more than I could have hoped for. If you're even thinking about booking them, do it immediately and consider it the best decision you've made in a long time. If I ever need a band for an event again, I will be calling these guys up.
Having a destination wedding (as was our case) can be a bit more stressful than a local one for several reasons. One simple fact remains that you end up working with people that you probably have never met (but communicate over time using email, phone etc.) or may not meet until ‘the big day.’ We did not have the luxury to get ‘local’ recommendations and simply relied upon the exceptional people that we worked with for guidance.
Tom Sartori is one such example of an exceptionally talented artist. Here is what you get when you work with Tom: first and foremost expertise; he is a musician FULL TIME. Not like some of these other so-called ‘wedding bands’ where the guitar player is a line cook at the local Olive Garden during the week and plays at weddings for some ‘extra cash’. Tom is a professional, courteous. He was always accessible and able to customize his band and set-list based upon our budget; you can hire just him (which would be more than enough for most events) or ask him to add bass and drums or a full-on 12 piece; scalability is key and a point of differentiation. Most importantly, Tom was humble. He genuinely feels blessed that he can share his talent with others and will consult with you to deliver lasting memories for all.
As far as I am concerned, there are only 2 people to consider for your wedding: Tom Sartori and everyone else. Sign him up now before someone else does.
Response from Tom Sartori:
Wow David, those are some really kind words. It really was a pleasure being part of your big day! I wish you guys a lifetime of happiness! Please stay in touch- Tom
My husband and I hired Tom and team (sax, electric violinist, drums, guitar etc.) for our wedding in Fort Lauderdale and could not have been happier with the performance. Tom had a violinist for our ceremony, sax and guitar for cocktail hour and then the full band for the reception. We had a tough time connecting before the wedding but it was not a concern day of. We were very worried about hiring a band that kept the party going and did not play slow songs and living in NYC for the past 8 years, we've seen our share of great performances. Tom and team are right up with them!
Tom Sartori was, without a doubt, my favorite of all my vendors! My wedding was four months ago and my guests are still raving over the band!
Tom and violinist, Jared Burnett, provided beautiful music for ceremony and cocktail hour and were joined by two other band members for an unforgettable reception.
Armed with an incredible talent to perform a range of selections, Tom isn't limited to one "sound" like so many other vocalists. Performing classics to modern top 40 hits, he is far from a traditional wedding band.
I would absolutely recommend Tom Sartori and use him again for future events!!
Words can't express how amazing Tom was during our wedding! He customized the music to our liking and absolutely made our night perfect! If you are trying to find the perfect music for your wedding or party don't look any further!! You will be satisfied beyond belief! Thanks again Tom! We are so thankful to have the best at our wedding! I give 6 stars!!
Response from Tom Sartori:
You guys are amazing. This is why I love my job so much... Clients like you! Much love and happiness to you and Josh
I booked Tom to perform solo for cocktail hour, DJ for dinner, and with his band for our wedding reception in May 2015. Let me start by saying I'm a tough music critic. I regularly attend concerts and live music events as well as I'm an amateur musician myself. I booked Tom over the multitude of other wedding bands because the others seemed too cheesy. Tom promised over and over that he'd gauge the crowd's interest and keep everyone dancing. Let me tell you, he 100% delivered. Starting with the cocktail hour, it was spot on. Tom is both a talented guitarist and keys player, but his true talent is his voice. He improvises with well-known songs to add to their appeal. For the reception he absolutely killed it. I had numerous people tell me it was the most fun reception they've ever been to and I have Tom to thank. People were tossing around words like "phenomenal" and "amazing". Due to some technical issues during the DJ portion of the dinner (occasional static due to faulty wires), Tom more than made up for it by playing his guts out for longer than the contracted time. If I had to book a band for another occasion, I wouldn't think about looking elsewhere and we hope to get him up here in NYC to perform some time.
Tom was wonderful, we had discussed the music a little ahead of time, and his timing with playing different types of music was perfect.
His Own song that he played for us was awesome and should be number one on the charts. I don't know how I could every have another party with out asking him
to play, It was a more intimate venue and he made My husband and I feel like we
were at our wedding and not our beautiful and most meaningful 25 anniversary.
Thank you Tom for making our night so special.
I highly recommend this man for your next event.
Response from Tom Sartori:
The pleasure was mine Linda! It was the first time in all my years as an entertainer that I performed for a small dinner party of 6... and I hope it isn't my last. It was truly an amazing evening. Your hospitality and kindness was also very much appreciated! Thank you
We searched for over a month before we finally found Tom Sartori. We booked Tom as a solo artist for our Wedding Ceremony and Reception on November 22, 2014 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The entire experience could not have been better. Tom learned 3 new songs specifically for the ceremony (songs by; Peter Gabriel, Colbie Caillat and Elvis) and with just a few days notice, learned a song for the Bride/Father dance (Barry Manilow) and a special request from the Best Man (Queen). All sounded as if he had been playing them for years. Tom performed everything from country to 70's/80's rock to current hits and had everyone dancing all night long. He was professional throughout the entire experience and even had 2 setups so one could already be ready at the reception while he was playing at the ceremony. All ages (from our parents in their 60's to 80's to our college age children commented on how great/perfect the music was throughout the day. We couldn't have been happier with Tom. He is the real deal, a talented, professional musician and we would recommend Tom to anyone looking for the perfect solo artist/band. We would give Tom more than 5 stars if we could. Book him and you won't be disappointed. Nicole and Brad
Tom played our corporate event. He worked around our schedule, was very professional and selected a playlist that was perfect for the crowd in attendance. He took requests, let people sing and even got people dancing. He has great range and a broad selection of music (Pop, Country, Classic Rock, etc.) Everyone was happy. For an estimated 5-10% increase in your event budget, Tom can take your event from standard to world class.
Response from Tom Sartori:
Thank you Hal! Your event was top notch and I was honored to be a part of it! Hopefully we can do it again next year. Take care
Tom did a great job at our Oktoberfest! He played a great set and everyone enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend him to others.
Response from Tom Sartori:
Hey John, thanks for the review! You guys odd a great job with that event. I can really appreciate what it takes putting an event of that magnitude together. Congrats, and stay in touch!
If you want an explosive, fun, entertaining and memorable experience, you need to attend the next event Tom Sartori is playing at!! We live in SW Florida and he plays once a month on Wed/Thurs nights at Blue Martini as well as other venues in the area and he always draws a packed house! We have traveled to Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale and Key West just to enjoy his music, and my Sister even convinced him to play at her wedding. Do yourself a favor and go listen to him sing - it will only take one event and you'll be hooked! We booked him for our Charity event in Naples coming up on Oct. 19th and we can't wait! Actually we're going to see him next week at LaBamba's at Miromar Outlets in Estero, FL now that he is back in SW Florida for the season!!
My wife & I have been fans of Tom Sartori since seeing him for the first time in the mid 90's. Tom has played for us many times at family parties, community events, and even around a camp fire. However, as I climbed the rankings as a professional boxer, selling out venues on national TV, I new that only one artist could get the crowd going each & every time with his outstanding performance of the National Anthem, Tom Sartori.
Tom is extremely versatile, for any occasion. He WILL NOT let you down. Enjoy!! 'Baby Joe' Mesi
Response from Tom Sartori:
Thanks buddy! You guys are the best
I first heard Sartori about 6 years ago at Cabana Sams in Sunset Bay, NY. I was blown away by his talent. I actually like some of his renditions of cover songs more so than the original song itself. His own music is also awesome. City Lights is one of my favorites. I always look forward to summer when he comes back to Buffalo and I try to make every show at Jack Devines and Cabana Sams. Tom Sartori is a great artist and entertainer and I strongly encourage anyone to check out one of his shows.
Response from Tom Sartori:
Very very kind of you... Thanks for your support
I'm a recording engineer working full time in New York for the past 20+ years and I teach audio production at a NYS university. I've had the pleasure to work with artists from all over the world such as Willie Nelson, John Rich (Big -n- Rich), Vernon Reid, Billy Sheehan, Gary Mallaber, etc.
Let me tell you... Tom Sartori is a real talent. He has a terrific voice and is skillful at playing guitar. I try to use him whenever he is in town for session work. I truly enjoy his song writing and his songs have set the bar for some of my own productions. He is extremely entertaining on stage and can hold the crowd's attention. On top of his musical talents, Tom has always maintained a courteous and professional attitude and it's been a pleasure to watch him continue to grow over the years.
My personal and professional opinion is to work with him in whatever capacity you can. He's That Good!!!
I have seen A LOT of solo acts over the years and Tom is one of the best there is....Hire him for your event.....u will not be sorry
