Overview
Celebrate five decades of rock n roll music with established music artist Tommy Ross (Precious Jem Records) and his jam band of pro musicians. Known for his upbeat and humorous stage presence, a typical set list by Tommy includes many rock covers (sample list below) and originals from his catalog of fifteen albums. Because of their diversity and versatility, Under A Mountain can custom specific sets for your venue/event (i.e. all blues set, all Stones set, all originals, etc.) In the vein of classic jam bands, the vibe is always up, dancing, bringing people together.

What to Expect
A robust, upbeat and professional rock band performance fronted by an affable, fun-loving and jovial singer/guitarist. Simple cooperation with house policies etc, easy to work with. A lot of people last year commented to us post-gig that what they like about the band was the organic rock sound or rock royalty vibe, they felt a connection to the real rock n roll roots as apposed to a band just whipping through a stodgy set list of radio favorites.
UAM at it's core is a celebration of fifty years of rock n roll, that's what you can expect.
About
Tommy Ross first cut his rock n roll teeth as a music major at Los Angeles City College before eventually dropping out to spend more time with his band and other projects. Spending most of the '90's under the moniker Innocent Bystander, Tommy played classic rock n roll venues like the Whisky A Go Go and The Roxy on the Sunset Strip.
In 1999, Tommy recorded his first solo album Ghosts In The Firehouse playing every single instrument. Various projects followed and in 2005 he built his own recording studio and developed a new sound combining techno with rock. Between 2005 to 2012, Tommy released fifteen albums including the acclaimed Fairly Twisted Logic and Redefining The Remix.
In 2019, Tommy released the double album White Shark Cafe to comments like "masterpiece," "epic," and "blown away." The formation of Under A Mountain followed and the band played many local shows from (phone number hidden)4 playing a different set list every show and eventually performing over a hundred songs.
