Overview
The Tonewood Trio is a Eugene-based SUBTLE HARMONY JAZZ group featuring Rob Lee on vocals and reeds, Mal Glaser on vocals, and Nick Rieser on piano. We specialize in weddings, events, wineries, and small clubs.
Mal and Rob toured with various groups and studied at the New School in Manhattan. Nick has backed singers from the Midwest to Oregon.
We love to share our love of jazz through the Great American Songbook, folk revival songs, and the popular music of the last fifty years, including David Bowie, Joni Mitchell, Miles Davis, and more.
We're a small group that believes in SUBTLETY and TASTEFULNESS!

I can not be happier with my wedding day. Mallory, Rob, and Nick (Tonnywood Trio) were absolutely great, we had great communication from the beginning, and they sang the songs from a list that I created, they also learned a song for my ceremony entrance. My guests loved their music and gave me a lot of compliments, I would not change anything, I felt that music was coming from their heart and I can see that they love what they do. Thank you so much for being part of that special day.
