An audience member could expect both a mellow and exciting show. Some songs are very relaxing and low key while some songs are very in your face and active. Many of the songs have a hip hop/punk rock vibe. Some songs lean towards more of the indie pop side. All of the songs are unique and fun in character. I am a very psychological and intelligent performer. I do not rely on pure words to capture emotions. I exercise the use of sounds and pauses to animate my music.
I (Tony Love) am a hip hop performer. I include cover songs, original material, and top 40 hit remixes in my set. I was raised in the DMV and generally perform in the DC & Baltimore areas.
If you were to book me for an event, you could expect a 5-10 song set. The majority of the songs would be Tony Love original songs however, I am willing to perform more covers and remixes to better serve audience demands.
Most of my influences were rock and hip hop artists. I also listened to a lot of soul and pop and as a child. Some specific influences include; Michael Jackson, James Brown, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, The Weeknd, Drake, Panic at The Disco, Blink 182, Joy Wave, Toro y Moi, and Frank Ocean.
