An audience would see a group of musicians who exert plenty of energy on and off the stage to help ensure smiles and a good time for all watching and listening. Toolshed Jack bills itself as a "party band" and the music and comedy reflect that. The members of the band are very approachable and relatable, and the musicianship is impressive. The set lists reflect many popular songs that are well known by audience members of all ages, played to perfection to the original song, or to a refreshingly new twist.
Toolshed Jack is composed of 6 members: Lead singer, lead guitar, bass guitar, drums, saxophone, and a trumpeter-singer-keyboardist. All originally from the Schuylkill County area of Pennsylvania, the band was founded in 1997 and has grown in popularity each year since. Toolshed Jack is a perfect fit for corporate events, state fairs, weddings, private events, block parties, and many other situations you can think of.
The music is primarily fun and popular rock music from almost all genres and decades. Styles can be adapted to fit the occasion for a portion of the performance. The goal of the band is to do what it takes to fit the wishes of whomever is fortunate enough to hire.
Toolshed Jack, if compensated, can bring their own sound system and/or light system to play a venue. If the venue has its own in-house sound system and lights, that is also perfectly acceptable. Staging is standard, with drums in the back middle and three performers stretched out in the front (the remaining two players next to the drummer in the back).
