Ty, an accomplished Storyboard Animation Artist, has been featured in many shows including Doc McStuffins, Dora the Explorer, and Angry Beavers plus movies including Disney’s Princess and the Frog, Ty carried over his 25+ years of animation experience into Caricatures creating his own cartoon like style that people adore. Ty has been drawing caricatures for over 20 years including Disney and he still “draws” a crowd every time. Your guests will take home a cartoon style 11"x17" caricature drawn on premium paper and placed in a clear plastic sheet protector. Ty did a great job! He showed up early and had a super positive attitude the whole time. He has a great sense of hospitality about him. Definitely hire him!! (Pro tip: encourage the people he is drawing to give him a prompt or setting. He has a great imagination)

Ty was such a hit at my granddaughter's graduation party. His work is extraordinary...and his style with his subjects is superb. Relaxed, fun, nice....he really helped make the party special. It is not easy to get self conscious 14 year olds to participate but Ty made them all feel comfortable and they LOVED his drawings of them!

Tooney Ty is an incredible caricaturist - there's no doubting it. We were so pleased with our caricature as the hosts, and all of our guests were so excited to show theirs off. He was such a hit at our event. But one thing that you may not be thinking about is how many fun connections between people will happen while watching the artist at work/waiting for their turn in the chair. Our guests came for the art, but stayed for the friendships and fun that happened in Ty's corner of our party. Highly recommend!

Ty was incredibly kind and so so much fun to have at our wedding!! When I first booked a caricaturist my husband wasn't the biggest fan of the idea. But one of the first things he said the next morning was that he is SO GLAD we booked him.
Rather than spending money on favors that will just sit in peoples closet for years to come we went this route and I think everybody LOVED IT!

I hired Ty for a corporate grand opening weekend event and his booth was an absolute hit! He is such a talented artist, personable, and a treat to work with all around. Ty arrived early to setup every morning, had great energy, was personable with guests, and provided top level caricature drawings for our diverse customer base. I can't tell you how many times a guest came up to me during the course of the weekend to say, "Ty is fantastic! I'm so happy with my drawing. What a cool addition to the event!" Ty was a big hit at our wedding. He was drawing from the minute he got to the event to the minute he left. My guests loved him and the drawings. He also did a picture of us beforehand from our engagement photos. So much fun. I highly recommend.

Tooney Ty was a hit at my Christmas dinner party with a group of 25 young professionals. He was cool, interactive and talented. I had multiple friends comment how special the experience was. What to Expect
Tooney Ty is an accomplished animation artist that draws cartoon style caricatures. Tooney Ty is professional, on time, courteous and lots of fun. He’ll create a black and white caricature for your guests taking about 4-6 minutes for each.
About
It was in high school that Ty really discovered a love and gift for art, but it was a Disney’s MGM Studio tour that inspired a love for drawing cartoons. Ty would go on to earn his fine arts degree at The Ohio State University and continue his art education at the Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD).. He landed his first animation job with Nickelodeon in Hollywood, CA, and spent years in the field he loves.

Ty is enjoying empty nesting with his wife, Jeni, in Clayton, NC. He has 3 beautiful daughters, Aliyah, Alycia and Sophia and one handsome son-in-law, Gabe. Ty has a deep faith in Jesus and a strong work ethic. One of his greatest desires in life is for his art to bring joy to you and to others.

Good lighting is helpful. Placing Tooney Ty’s set-up with access to an electrical outlet is helpful should he need to use his own lighting.

Tooney Ty provides his own easel and folding chairs. Should you desire upper scale chairs, please provide two.
Tooney Ty also needs a 5’ x 8’ area with good lighting. Placing him near an electrical outlet is super helpful so he can utilize his own lighting.
