For aerial performances there are two options, choreographed pieces or ambient sets. Choreographed sets are usually 3-6 minutes long, usually to a specific set of music. This may be something that the performer already has or something made specific for the event. Ambient sets can be of longer duration.
Fire performances are limited to the length of burn time (4-5 minutes). There must be a safety for fire performance and the venue must have a permit from the Fire Department for fire performance. This is non negotiable. Either the venue/planner/client must pay the safety or must give the performer a budget to pay the safety (at least $50). Technically, two or more safeties are required by the FDNY.

Torrie originally discovered aerial work as a way to relieve stress and gain strength. Slow but surely it came to infuse her life with so much joy that she now loves sharing her love of flying with others. She combines exciting dynamic movement with beautiful flexibility and body awareness, primarily on the lyra (aerial hoop).
After years in the circus world, Torrie discovered fire spinning. She quickly became enthralled and picked up various props from staff to double staves to rope dart. For smaller spaces with need of more controlled performance she can utilize palm torches for a contained act.
