The Tribunes

The Tribunes were the big hit of my father in laws surprise 80th birthday party. The are extremely talented and professional. They interacted with our guests and told stories that all could relate to. Everyone was so excited to see an A Capella 50’s Show. What an amazing treat! If you are having a party that you want everyone to remember and talk about be sure to include The Tribunes!

The Tribunes did a great job, very entertaining. Performed songs that people wanted to hear. Told interesting stories about the music biz. My guests loved them!

The Tribunes made my father's birthday so special. When they were singing, we were all just in that moment- like the rest of the world stopped. Just fascinated by their voices and talent. Going down as one of the most breath taking moments of my life. They are worth every penny!!
We had the Tribunes surprise my dad at home for his 50th birthday and the performance was amazing.
It was quick and easy to schedule, they arrived right on time. Polite and so sweet, felt like family.

This was the best decision we made for our event. The Tribunes were amazing. They arrived on time, dressed to the nines and wowed everyone. The Tribunes made it a night to remember. Highly recommended!!!

They were personable, fun, and sang all classic doo wop tunes, smiling and making us smile. There was interesting patter and humor between tunes. It was fascinating to watch and hear the five vocal parts blend. From tune to tune, it was a different lead singer each time, which kept it even more interesting. They recognized the commemorative nature of this gathering, and mentioned my late brother's name a few times.

They were perfect, and made the evening absolutely memorable. I would absolutely recommend these guys to anybody seeking a great a cappella doo wop experience.

They were also so kind and thoughtful to my brother who is quite ill.

I was fortunate enough to bring great joy and nostalgia to my father on his 70th birthday through the eargasmic harmonies of the Tribunes. They were very professional, sounded great and displayed great showmanship. Their knowledge of doo wop is undeniable, their uplifting spirit is contagious and I highly recommend them.

If Gigsalad would allow me to give this group a million stars, I would do so in a heartbeat. The Tribunes are a true class act. From their matching outfits, to their perfect pitched harmonies and everything in between, The Tribunes FAR exceeded our expectations. The event was my fathers 70th surprise birthday party. It was an outdoor event and the weather forecast was calling for rain and thunderstorms. I called Shelly in a panic the day before the party to ask if the band could play on Sunday instead of Saturday due to
Inlimate weather. He was so understanding as he knew how important this party was to me and said he would call the other members to see if they were available Sunday. Not long after that I called back to say Sunday wouldn't work due to my fathers work schedule. He said no problem were back on for Saturday. I called again Saturday a few hours before the party to say we might switch the location. Again, Shelly was so understanding. Fast forward to the actual event, the band had the most perfect idea, to start playing "16 Candles" as my dad came out of the car blindfolded. When he opened his eyes to see his closest friends and family sitting there and the tribunes singing the most perfect song, he was speechless. I'll never forget that moment and neither will he. As the night went on my dads friends could not get enough of this band. They knew every song and they were in awe of just how amazing these guys sounded. They even took the time learn a few songs they didn't know that I had requested them
to sing. My fathers favorite part was when they dedicated "Tonight Tonight" to him, since that is his favorite song of all time. After the band left, everyone couldn't stop talking about how wonderful they were. My dad couldn't stop thanking me for having them, my uncle wants to book them for an event at his house in South Hampton and I will be booking them for my wedding next May. I cannot thank you guys enough for making my vision of this party come to life. You gave us something truly special to remember. Can't wait to see you guys again!

the Tribunes were a true class act all around! Their performance was top notch, interactive, engaging and became the focal point of my father's birthday festivities! The group members were very professional, energetic, punctual and made our event a day to remember. The guests are still raving about their performance.

I have to say, the Tribunes nailed the show, excellent performance, great music and nothing could of made my Fathers 70th Birthday more memorable. Everyone came up to me during and after the show saying " what a great group " and " where did you find these guys " but I think the best comment was " Thanks for bringing back the memories ". Amazing!! The Tribunes recently performed during the cocktail hour for my 2014 wedding. They were a hit. Guests are still talking about the show they put on and asking for their contact information. They were professional, friendly, and talented. The songs they sang were perfect for guests of all ages to enjoy! I can't wait to attend their next performance.

Such talent from a great group of musicians! The Tribunes had crowds of all ages that appreciated their singing and their personalities! Their performance really enhanced my Mother's 70 birthday party- Great live entertainment and the older generation got to enjoy their music for a change:).

We had a surprise 60th for my wife with around 100 guest. Everyone had a great time and raved about them all night.There is only one word to describe the Tribunes (FANTASTIC). Their harmony and choice of songs were great. For those who love Doo Ops these are the guys for you.

Excellent vocalists, fabulous performers, wonderful to work with.

The guests were truly amazed. The vocals were outstanding. We were taken on a journey through the history of rock and roll. From their opening rendition of "Darling When We Get Married", until the finale of "Save The Last Dance For Me", people were cheering. The consensus is that the Tribunes are the best A Cappella / Doo Wop group we have seen. Mike Cuomo is the ultimate professional. Please keep these memories alive.

I received so many compliments on the Tribunes from my guests. Everyone had an incredible time and the music was great. Their use of wireless mikes and them walking around singing to people sitting at tables made it very personal and very entertaining. I need to come up with another reason to hire them again. I would not even look any further but the TRIBUNES. Thank you so much, you made my daughter's party a lot of fun.

From the first contact through the last song, and even follow-up email, The Tribunes were professional, accommodating and amazingly talented. They exceeded my expectations and have my highest recommendation....in fact, I may have to host another party just so that I can hire them again!
