We were super pleased with the music and the overall experience of working with Trio Lumina for our wedding. As a violinist and flutist myself, I am quite picky with music, but their performance was excellent, exceeding all of our expectations! The requested pieces we chose were performed beautifully, and the music choices that we didn't specify (prelude and reception) were a great mix of appropriate pieces. Our guests told us throughout the evening that they were really enjoying the music, as well, so it was an all-around perfect finishing touch on our elegant sunset wedding in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I highly and enthusiastically recommend Trio Lumina to anyone who is looking for great and tasteful live music and pleasant and flexible music professionals with whom to contract. The members of Trio Lumina are professional musicians with years of experience in performing and teaching in the Pacific Northwest and across the country. They have performed as principals in many northwest Washington orchestras, and have been featured soloists with the Skagit Symphony, North Cascades Concert Band, and more. They have traveled the US, Europe, China and South America as teachers and performers. Most importantly, they love to make music together, and it shows! Their wide ranging repertoire and passion for beautiful music is what sets this ensemble apart.
