Thank you for taking a few minutes from your busy schedule, and checking out my profile on GigSalad! As a radio personality and talk show host, I've worked in Indianapolis, St. Louis, Baltimore, and currently, Washington, DC. Every step of the way, I have demonstrated that I am not only a seasoned broadcaster, but an effective emcee, and event host.
Throughout my career, I have been involved with the entire process of preparing the content of my shows and projects, with the assistance of team members, show producers, and other staff, and with diligence, I have created compelling, and award winning work.
I've gained a wealth of experience in my 25 year career by being involved in many aspects of our media, which I feel would be valuable to your needs. I've been fortunate enough in my 13 years here in Baltimore/Washington area to be visible, and very active in the community, something that is very important to me.
I have television experience as well. I have hosted shows, offered commentary on local news programs, live video blogged for the Baltimore Sun's website, and participated in many interviews throughout my broadcast career. I've also worked as primary announcer for trade shows, corporate events, and sporting events, like "Hoop City" at the Women's Final Four, two NABJ Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies at the Newseum in Washington, DC, and The Baltimore NAACP's 100th Anniversary celebration. I've done voice-over projects that include Baltimore Tourism, The Marriage Works Campaign, The African-American Heritage Festival, and Nasa's Hubble Telescope.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me. I'm available for events in a 1500 mile radius from Baltimore...anywhere from Denver to Minneapolis, to New Orleans! Thank you in advance for your consideration, I look forward to working with you!
Sincerely,
Troy Johnson
