I did not think this photographer was professional. My event was two hours. The photographer came an hour late. My event was from 1 to 3 PM. The photographer showed up at 2 PM. He missed our opening events and remarks which was very disappointing. My credit card was charged for two hours even though the photographer, who agreed for two hours, only committed to one. Yes, I was notified by the photographer that he would be running late. He sent the email at 12:15 but I did not see the email until the event was over. He should have called and even still, his excuse was that his prior event ran over. To me, this is poor planning. Why is one event more important than another? Moreover, I would not recommend Gigsalad to anyone because this was a clear case of a breach of contract but my credit card was still charged. There were other bidders for this contract and if this agency would have explained to me that they would be an hour late, I would not have booked it for the event. Lastly, when you show up to an event as the photographer, do not take it upon yourself to participate in the discussion or take any food unless you have been asked. I am so disappointed in Gigsalad and so disappointed in this photographer. The pictures were not professional. We took group pictures; however, in some of the pictures we had people who were not in the picture because another individual was in front of them. Isn't a professional photographer supposed to know common things like this? So very disappointed!
