Overview
I am an experienced trumpet player and teacher based in the Washington, D.C. area. Versed in many styles including Jazz, Disco, Reggae, Funk, Classical and many more, he has been playing for over 40 years.
I can also enhance your event with a jazz group of many sizes. Duo, trio, quartet, quintet or more. We can play lots of jazz standards and would be perfect for cocktail parties, corporate events or any setting where where background music would set a laid back but interesting mood. In addition to trumpet, I play flugelhorn which is a quieter and more soulful cousin to the trumpet. That paired with a piano or guitar and upright or electric bass can be a perfect backdrop do your event!

These guys added a wonderful element to the funeral of a career military officer who was also a skilled and passionate trumpet player. These guys are very professional, skillful and easy to work with. The guest of honor has not said much, but the family was delighted.

Ralph was professional from the moment we touched base. He was extremely polite and patient with the musicians at my son's wedding.
They never responded to his request for the key to the music, but Ralp still appeared on time and well dressed for the wedding. I was thrilled with his music, because it added to the church music. All my friends said he was great!
