The TVK Orchestra is one of Chicago's most respected and requested dance bands. It performs everything from classic jazz standards for cocktails to fill-the-floor dance music. Bandleader Tom VanKanegan tailors music for each client's event, including learning new songs. Tom and his musicians have performed at thousands of events, including playing with such artists as Aretha Franklin and Diana Krall. The band's repertoire includes contemporary, 90s, 80s and classic rock, jazz standards, R&B, disco, Motown, Big Band and swing.
