Twin Cities Cello played at my nonprofit shindig and she was so great to work with. Her music was beautiful and she was so easy to work with, being willing to move indoors when plans changed mid-event.

Elise did such a great job with the Cello and her husband with the piano and the guitar. We loved every single song they played, very professional and easy to make arrangements. With all the wedding planning they made our experience with them easy and memorable.
Thank you

Elise was fantastic. She spent time reviewing and practicing custom arrangements made by a friend of ours and even arrived early to run through the material. The performance was one of a kind and will be forever special to my partner and I. We would recommend Elise to anyone!

I reached out to Elise to play at a friend’s wedding ceremony with me as a guitar/cello duo in Minneapolis. She’s quick to respond, learned requests, has a great repertoire, and on the day she arrived prepared and ready to adapt to schedule delays and windy weather for the outdoor ceremony. Her musicianship is top-tier and I’m very grateful for the experience I had getting to play with her. Everybody loved her playing. Thank you again and again, Elise!

Elise did a phenomenal job at my wedding ceremony! She was very collaborative before the event and was open to learning new songs. We got married in St. Paul and she positively communicated with the pianist, who is based in Wisconsin. She was so kind and thorough! The music was wonderful. Thanks, Elise!

Thanks so much, Marisa! It was a lovely ceremony and I was so happy to be a part of it!
Elise is great! She played prelude, processional, and recessional music for our wedding ceremony outside in the summer. She played all of our specific requests, and provided the perfect atmosphere for the ceremony. We are so happy we booked her!

We were so thrilled that we could book Elise for our son’s wedding! She was responsive, flexible and arrived exactly when she said she would! Her processional and recessional performance was perfect- exactly what wee were looking for. With so many details to take care of, it was wonderful to have such a great partner to work with- would book her again in a flash! Thank you!

Elise made our wedding experience everything we hoped for. Considering we switched cellists a couple months before the wedding, Elise stepped in and learned all of the songs we requested for our day. Our guests absolutely loved the music and we loved having the music as background to parts of our ceremony. I can’t recommend Elise enough! Thank you!!

We hired Elise to perform outside, unscoring a strange new play with original music. She worked incredibly well with all the members of the team, from the composer to the playwright and director and stage manager. She seemed game for anything, eager to be a part of exciting artistic opportunities, and--most importantly--she plays really well!
Our experience with Elise makes us recommend her highly.

Elise worked with us and asked all the right questions to make sure she was prepared. Which is important when your juggling all other aspects of a wedding. Showed up on time and played beautifully. Very talented cellist!

What to Expect
If you book Twin Cities cello for your event, you can expect prompt communication and a musical group that is individualized to your needs. I work with clients to come up with the perfect playlist of songs that will fit the event to a tee. I am flexible and accommodating with special requests and happy to have discussions to ensure that you get what you want on your special day.
If you hire a classical ensemble, I have a large list of professional musicians that I trust and have worked with many times in the past so that we can make a group that fits your needs. Some common duos are cello/cello cello/piano, cello/guitar, and cello/violin. If you book a larger group like a string trio or string quartet, you can expect a combination of violin, viola and cello. If you have a very particular or unique ensemble that you are looking for, let me know! I am happy to reach out to my network to help you find what you need.
I have a huge repetoire of music available (see more below) for a variety of instrument combinations. I am able to arrange or buy music that I don't know yet and learn it for your event.

Additional Booking Notes
Generally, for indoor or small outdoor events, no amplification is required. If playing with an electric keyboard, we require outlets for an amp. If the event is in a big space and amplification is needed, I have the ability to amplify the cello to fill the space. I have a pickup, cords and amps necessary.
If the event is outdoors, musicians request a tent or alternate indoor space in case of rain.
