Tyler Carson is a  vocalist / multi-instrumental artist / songwriter based in Franklin, Pennsylvania. He is also a recording producer at Threshold Shift Entertainment from Franklin & Pittsburgh, PA.
He is a multi year finalist in Franklin, PA’s Taste of Talent.. Graduating from Duquesne University in May of 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Technology. He studied as both an audio engineer and an operatic tenor graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. Although he is formally trained as an opera singer, his versatile voice allows him to perform a wide variety of genres, ranging from opera, to jazz, to 90’s alternative and rock and roll. Along with performing as a solo artist for weddings and special events, he has performed with duet partner Kaylene Dunkle in Air Mosaics, as well as touring with Duquesne University’s Voices of Spirit Chamber Choir along the east coast and Canada. Between 2018 and 2019, Tyler also performed with the former Pittsburgh-based alternative rock band Inbound, playing as a lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist, and a back up vocalist, and more recently as lead guitarist for alternative punk rock band, Grim Grin, from Erie, PA in 2022. Currently, he performs his solo and duo acoustic sets, (with a drummer included), throughout western PA. He is a lead singer of the Pittsburgh, PA based John Parker Party Band, City Heat, (since2020), lead guitarist for West Middlesex, PA based pop punk/alternative rock band, Oh Bother, and a versatile drummer in the Erie, PA based up and coming steel Drum band; Flagship Steel.
He is capable of customizing a wide range of entertainment for your venue or celebration. Whether it’s a large or small crowd, Tyler can definitely make it in an event to remember!
