I have experience playing in many different settings, from Wedding Ceremonies and Cocktail hours to pubs, Background at Dinners and Banquets, 90th Birthday parties, and Private events. I am happy to help make your event come to life.
Tyler was AWESOME! We hired Tyler to play at the Welcome Party for our wedding weekend. We were looking for an upbeat, acoustic, fun set to kick off our festivities and Tyler provided exactly that. He was communicative and easy to work with. He took genuine interest in our requests - we had multiple emails and a phone call to discuss our favorite bands and songs. He was a huge hit at the party. He read the room and was able to provide the right vibe throughout the entire night. Many of our guests commented on how great he was. I hope to have another opportunity to work with Tyler! Tyler Johnson is a Guitarist and Songwriter based in Victoria, British Columbia. His passion for music was ignited when he discovered his father’s  extensive record collection at the age of 12, leading him to pick up the guitar.
Tyler's first experience in the music scene was in 2012 in Edmonton, Alberta. Since then he has performed with multiple artists and bands as a front man and sideman. Having an eclectic taste in music Tyler draws influence from various genres from Folk, Rock, Blues, Country, Celtic, Traditional, Pop etc.
Currently, Tyler can be found captivating audiences as a member of a local band called “Second Fiddle.” He also showcases his skills as a  solo artist, enchanting the crowd with his heartfelt compositions and impressive guitar playing. His album "Songs For Everyone" was released on August 31, 2023 and was recorded at Neighborhood Recorders by Musician, Engineer and Producer Leeroy Stagger.
