I write custom poetry on a typewriter. I invite folks to give me a topic to turn into a poem. They receive a recitation of the finished work, and the original hard copy poem - the perfect memento to capture the event’s festivities: all in all, a uniquely interactive experience! 💌

I have a minimal setup: table, chair, typewriter, and a sign welcoming folks to step right up and partake in the making of their very own poem. I take about 10min per poem, and about 5min to speak with the participant.
I’ve written poetry since my adolescent years. I’ve been writing songs, too, for over a decade now. Typewriter poetry came into my life about two years ago. It provides a means for me to connect with strangers, and a container for us to be playful or have a heart-to-heart. We often have a good laugh together, sometimes a good cry.
I’ve written poetry for all sorts of occasions: a business’s grand opening, festivals, cocktail parties, office parties, markets, weddings.
