Ula Vamps, Your Silly Singing Showgirl!

Ula Vamps is available to perform sassy singing telegrams and as a cover band duo. As a cover act she is available to perform an exclusive set of vintage naughty songs from the 20's-50's as well as Post Modern Jukebox songs. Post Modern Jukebox does your favorite pop songs from the last 20 years but in a retro vintage style. Her act is perfect for parties of all kinds but especially bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthdays and anniversaries. Any fans of retro, burlesque, musicals and comedy will just adore her. Currently Ula performs mostly as a duo with piano or solo guitar but can be available as a 3-4 piece jazz combo for an additional fee with at least two months notice to your event date.

She provides several options for singing telegrams. The shortest would be only one song and a happy birthday or other event song as well. This would also include some banter/attention to the guest of honor. Many times she loves to get the guest of honor to do a little runway walk, some singing or dancing to make it extra fun.
If she has at least seven days notice for an extra fee she will create a personalized song for the event using details about the guest of honor that you provide! Ula makes a grand entrance in character showers the guest of honor with compliments and gets them to do some partying she then sings the event or personalized song. Next will be a either a jazz song, party song or if available the guest of honor's favorite song during which Ula will make her fabulous exit making an unforgettable time for everyone! Singing telegrams can also be virtual or pre-recorded for anyone to watch at their leisure. They can be performed almost anywhere at a private party or at a public place.

Her original zany cabaret songs are filled with the just the right amount of naughtiness. A bluesy alto voice and comic banter will enthrall you and transport you to a vintage club full of glamorous dames, dapper fellas and oodles of flamingos. Ula loves beer and a good tongue in cheek double entendre song as much as she adores sparkly gowns. She is forever a fan of big hair, Tiki, kitsch, pinup and swingin' cocktail soirees. Carol Burnett, Ruth Wallis and Dolly Parton are among her idols.

Since Ula came into being last year, she has graced the virtual stage for The Glam Vamps Burlesque (NY), Shenanigans Cabaret (UK) and the international performance site The Velvet Revue. Zealously she has oozed her sultry brand of schlock at a selection of premiere lounge venues in her local Boise area.

Singing telegrams - no equipment needed, Ula will bring a portable speaker if necessary but most are done acapella.

Cover band - prefer a PA already at venue but so long as there is power Ula and the Midnight Scamps can provide mics, instruments and PA if needed. We don't provide any of our own lighting.

We are available for travel to your event outside the Boise Idaho with travel/accomodations provided and notice of a at least 3 months.
