Zacchaeus Darnell Tabron, known as Zacchaeus tha’ Great in the hip-hop world, is an American artist who was born in Virginia Beach, VA at the Bayside General Hospital on December 8, 1990 to parents Zandra Arlean Tabron & Steven Darnell Eure. He lived in the Twin Carnal Village until the age of 11 when his mother decided to move to Lynbrook Landing where he completed his schooling, graduating from the Bayside High School in 2009.
Even though his interest in hip-hop and rap music developed during his childhood, he viewed it as more of a hobby than a career aspiration, which is why he didn’t actively pursue a career in music until he reached his teenage years, which is when he actively began to record music.
However, he always displayed a hidden talent for rapping when he was a child, but did not let his parents or peers let in on it, until later, when he decided he wanted to venture into the world of (link hidden) time passed, his hobby turned into his passion and he developed an interest in becoming a musician with the year 2008 becoming his first foray into the world of hip-hop and rap music.
It started with an Indie label founded by Alonzo Shaw or better known as PaperTrail Newyear and at the same time he acquired a digital distribution opportunity through the company Tunecore. He went on to release his first debut single, “Go Get Em” in 2016. His debut single garnered more than 10,000 streams on Spotify.
