Unique blend of Burlesque, Drag, & Fire

Gender f*ckery at it's finest, and unapologetically queer. When I hit the stage, I'm going to bring you either alluring feminine expression, or tantalizing masculine energy. Sometimes both! I've been told I'm high energy, intense, and powerful in what I do. There is so much thought put into my numbers, from the costumes I create myself to the songs I remix, to the story I'm telling (in usually three to five minutes). There is always more and more to think about even when you've seen me multiple times, and I'm always changing it up! I have a knack for hitting you right in the nostalgia. A lot of my acts are based on and inspired by popular characters we grew up with - thus the 'villain'. Everyone knows the bad guys get the sexy edit, right? But I'm not limited to what is just my 'brand' - I also can do traditional, classic, neo, the list goes on. I've done cozy bars and high end clubs, big events like Prides, conventions with hundreds of thousands in attendance. And I'm professionally prompt - great communication - I always say more information is better than not enough! I am on time (read: early), show up ready to go, keep my things compact and organized, provide everything needed from me and then some, make sure everything is clean as I'm gone, and extremely easy to get along with. Always grateful and respectful every time I am given the opportunity to show my art to the world.

And you know, intersex drag kings who also dance burlesque and fire breathe for a living are kind of hard to come by. ;)

My name is Warumono (it means 'villain' or 'bad guy') and I have been on stage and creating art my entire life. I started out in pageants, credited in every art class imaginable, dabbled in theater and improv, moved to making costumes and competing, small acts, modeled for fashion shows, worked in Hair and Makeup, was in a couple bands, and used all of that to propel me into drag and eventually burlesque. Now I do a mixture of all of the above! I have won more than 60 awards in the 24 years I have been creating across the nation as well as one international. I am a current verified world record holder for Largest Online Burlesque Class. I have won titles in the queer community for my performances, and am an outspoken activist for including intersex people in our Alphabet Umbrella, making sure that Drag Kings and Things start getting the same recognition as Drag Queens, and educating on how to be more gender inclusive in Burlesque and other shows. I have put together and hosted many large events in my time!

I am originally from Denver, CO. and performed all over the state regularly as a solo artist as well as a part of multiple different troupes. While keeping busy in my hometown I also traveled to many states to perform for shows all across the USA. I have dreams of constantly biggering and bettering my talent, so in 2019 I finally moved to Los Angeles, CA. It had been a dream of mine for more than a decade at that point. Once here, I quickly went to work figuring out how to climb even higher and higher still, and learned how to play with, eat, and breathe fire. In fact, I was on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 17 Finale! I'm also learning pole dancing and a bit of aerial hoop. Next on my list is angle grinding... I am a boy of many aspirations!
