A personal story of triumph that lifts an audience from defeat to hope. The true story of the son of a janitor, a college drop-out , who turned failure into success. Ed Eisen was a failed DJ, a failed video producer, a failed husband. One man turned him around. It was the counsel of a New York Times newsman who helped transform Ed from a wanna-be writer to an award-winning journalist, a Freedoms Foundation recipient. And later, an author, a spokesman for two popes and a motivational speaker. The story of that journey inspires audiences to see beyond where they are to where they can be.

An inspirational talk that promises to be absolutely transformative. This is a presentation for those who find themselves at a crossroads: a troubled marriage, a career that has hit a road block, an addiction, a life careening on a downward spiral. Ed Eisen's presentation, "From Caterpillar to Butterfly" is aimed to set you on a new path. The 60-minute PowerPoint is both informative and entertaining. It mirrors Ed' s own life and career, a road less traveled, a road that traversed many valleys until mountain top views came into sight.
You'll be empowered with seven critical keys designed to overcome negative thinking, to help you awaken each day recharged like the proverbial EverReady battery. Ed challenges audiences to reset their body clocks, answers questions on how to reach for that sometimes elusive out-of-the box thinking designed to turn your life around.
His presentation has received wide acclaim in both print and broadcast media. Find him on (link hidden), call with questions or book now.
Ed Eisen is an award-winning journalist, broadcaster and author of "Soul for Sale," a memoir. His career in communications spans 52 years. He was a Freedoms Foundation recipient and served as a business writer and investigative reporter at The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Philadelphia Bulletin and the Sun Sentinel in Ft. Lauderdale. He worked as a broadcast news reporter, public relations consultant and operated his own media relations firm in Philadelphia for 28 years. His memoir uncovers the dark side of the world of public relations. His experience as the first person of the Jewish tradition to represent two popes leaves audiences with some unique insights. His career path has often taken a road less traveled with many bends and turns, the kind of experiences for which many identify, certainly those facing upheavals in careers and in personal lives.
Today Ed offers diverse audiences Out-of-the Park Entertainment as a Motivational Speaker based on his career and the lessons he learned from some of the world's most famous, most infamous people. For corporate audiences he offers a unique seminar, "How to Grow Your Business Without Spending a Dime in Advertising."
His presentations have been lauded in The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Jewish Exponent, The National Catholic Reporter, the Bucks County Courier Times and on public TV and radio.

A 52-year career as an award-winning journalist, broadcaster, public relations consultant, author. Also, two mentors: a gifted and inspired writer John McCandlish Phillips -- from the New York Times. And Mother Teresa with whom I shared a bowl of chicken soup 43 years ago. To this day I believe her
prayers turned my failed career around and opened a door that had been shut. Eleven months after
that meeting at the Archdiocese of Philadelphia I was hired as a staff writer at The Philadelphia Bulletin.
