Up In Arms prides itself in presenting quality shows in a fun, family, Broadway-musical style. We create engaging soundscapes and perform our shows with professional puppeteers. Whether for schools, a theater presentation, a library show, events or festivals, an Up In Arms story is one our audiences never forget.
The Up In Arms team is probably the most professional puppet team I've invited to present to our kids. They were timely, clear, funny, and educational. The songs were catchy and had good messages about literacy, positive self image, and wellness. I will have them back.
Response from Up In Arms:
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Claudette and her church group. They were helpful and welcoming when we arrived onsite and made sure we had what we needed. The audience was wonderful and their participation and appreciation of our show gave us so much energy and gratitude. I look forward to any opportunity to work with Claudette again. Thank you!
Very impressed and excellent show!
Response from Up In Arms:
Thank you, Jose! You were a perfect host. We had a wonderful time sharing your celebration with your friends and family.

We present beautiful, television-style, mouth-rod puppets performing a Broadway-style musical show. Our shows have interactive elements that get the audience talking back or moving with the show. Highly enjoyable scripts are engaging for all audience members, young and old alike. We generally get comments from adults thanking us for putting on a show that they can enjoy as well.
Up In Arms prides itself in presenting quality shows in a fun, family musical style. We create engaging soundscapes with professional voice actors in the studio and perform our shows with professional puppeteers. While including current curriculum standards, the shows play well from an elementary school assembly program to a main-stage theater show. Whether teaching kindness and respect in our anti-bullying musical Helping Drew, fun adventures with friendly monsters in Monster Intelligence, our interactive sing-along/ move-along show like Tortoise & Hare’s Race to Health, or the Welcome Park animals learning about the seasons and how to listen, the entertainment value shines through. Whether for schools, a theater presentation, a library show, events or festivals, an Up In Arms story is one our audiences never forget. While based in the Hudson Valley region of New York, Up In Arms travels nationally and has performed from all over New York State, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts with tours in Maryland, Michigan, North Dakota and Las Vegas. Our set-up easily breaks down to travel cases which can fly with us to any national or international booking.
The actors play behind a 6-foot tall puppet stage in order to hide the actors. Puppets are played overhead. The show is easily visible for audiences whether they are sitting in seats or sitting on the floor so, the puppet stage can be set on a stage or easily on the audience floor. Our shows are best suited for indoor presentations. Our sound equipment can reach an audience of up to 500. For larger venues or venues preferring to use their own sound, we can plug our playback (iPod) into your system with a stereo jack or with our XLR adapter. Generic stage lighting or full venue lighting is all that is required.
