Ursula Matlock

I am an experienced church choir director, song leader and piano accompanist. I obtained my B.A. in Music Education, with an emphasis in piano performance and choir, from California State University, Fullerton in 2007.

For the past nine years I have served as a background entertainer for performing for weddings, hotels, restaurants, piano concerts, senior citizen nursing homes, church events, and private house parties. My musical repertoire ranges from popular, wedding music, musical theater/film, ethnic/multi-cultural, jazz, classical, twentieth century, romantic, and Baroque. I have the ability to produce engaging, organized, and meaningful concerts and performances. I am friendly, sensitive, and engaging when I work with audiences.

As a vocalist and pianist for senior homes, interfaith programs, non-profit organizations and Baha'i events, I am actively involved with the Interfaith organizations and currently perform with a religious ensemble that performs within the Interfaith programs. I am also familiar with the religious music and hymns, having come from a family who specialized in providing music for church.
