No words can describe the over and beyond and extra mile that Johnny went through. He answered the call for a Piper to play at a great Man’s graveside service that originated by me contacting a college buddy that is a Piper… a few emails and facebook posts later Johnny answered the call and drove a round trip a total of 6 hours!!!! All the family continues to talk about is “the Piper”. I have had the honor of hearing and seeing many Pipers and I know they love being known as the “Piper”. So whether it be you or your loved ones funeral, a wedding, a birth or you just want a Piper to walk you from the parking lot to your office desk then Johnny is your PIPER!!!!!

I hired Johnny as a surprise for my mother’s 80th birthday party. It was better than I had hoped. He played several songs, mostly requests. He was so professional and very accommodating. I would not hesitate to contact him again in the future.

I was pleased to have Johnny Miner with us for our 50th anniversary dinner. My wife and I have strong ties to Scotland and it really added to the occasion. His technical performance is superb, and his piper "uniform" is fantastic. HIs repertoire is expansive and his demeanor very pleasant and accommodating.

Beautiful Amazing Grace coordinated with the Honor Guard and at the end of the service wrapped it up with our toast and the Parting Glass. If you can have a highlight of a funeral, Johnny and his bagpipe music were it! Not only was it the most memorable, touching tribute to my father-in-law, Johnny was a pleasure to work with! He was on-time, great at communicating before and after, professional, and talented. I would highly recommend his services!

I had Johnny play at my grandpa’s funeral. In keeping with my grandpas wishes I asked him to play Danny Boy. It was beautiful, and he played it again as he was walking away so it slowly faded away. I can’t recommend him enough, or speak more highly of his skill and professionalism!

Oh my goodness!! Johnny came and played the bagpipes for the opening ceremonies of our huge family Highland Games reunion!! He was AMAZING!! His music was a big hit and a very special highlight!! All of my family loved his music and how he personally played a medley in honor of each family. He was very professional and prompt and so kind to stick around for tons of family group photos!!! Johnny played at my brothers funeral. He was so kind and considerate while organizing the event. He offered song ideas and was so incredibly sweet. He played 3 songs for us and it was such a beautiful touch. It really helped to set the tone of the funeral. It was hot outside and he was dressed in the traditional kilt and had no complaints. He played respectful and calming music for a prelude, performed a musical number (Be Still My Soul), and concluded with the postlude. It was freezing outside and he played continuously, which was amazing. It truly made the event terrific and had everyone in tears with how sentimental, spiritual, and beautiful it turned out. I know my uncle was smiling from above. I would rebook Johnny for any future events where I’d like bagpipes played.

We had Johnny play for us for three hours during our renaissance day festival at University Place. It was sunny, it was hot, but he didn't complain. He played beautifully, interacted with the crowd and was easy to work with when we wanted to adjust things. I would highly recommend Johnny for anyone's event!

Miner was easy to work with. He was competent bag pipe player. He dressed the part. Was on time and patient. Days was cloudy and cold and he was outside so he had to keep his instrument warm too so that it played correctly. I would and will hire him again when the time is right.

We hired Johnny for our wedding to play our processional and recessional music. He was a last minute addition to our ceremony and he made it a home run.

He was flexible, worked with us on the music we wanted, Highland Cathedral for the processional, and since it was on May 4th, he was able to play the Star Wars theme song for us on the recessional which was the icing on the cake.

Seeing him lead, and hearing the Pipes played flawlessly while the processional happened put chills down everyone's spine.

Everyone commented on how it was one of the best weddings and the piper was amazing.
