Velvet Verve performs smooth vocal stylings along with spirited upbeat selections to provide a varied mix from the jazz repertoire that will entertain lovers of the classic standards.

Gwyn Beaver holds a Master's degree in vocal performance from the University of Oklahoma and is a vocal teacher/coach. Gwyn has been a featured artist with the Montréal Jubilation Choir and has worked with various jazz artists based in Montréal. In addition to singing jazz, she continues to present concerts in the classical/operatic genre. Gwyn has performed with the l'Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, Jongleur Opera, Fort Worth Opera, Cimarron Circuit Opera and was an apprentice with the Houston Ebony Opera.

Louis Lefaive is a retired music teacher, and an active musician who plays throughout Ontario and Quebec with his family band “Ariko” (Celtic and French folk music). Former musical endeavors include “Louis Lefaive and the Kings of Swing”, “Rubber Soul” (a Beatles tribute band) and Par Hasard (French original music).
