Went to see Ventu at NABU Wines in Westlake Village. Pricey little venue but the wine was good but the free entertainment was better with the band Ventu Park. People danced and sang along. The band was phenomenal and the lead singer has an amazing voice. I am looking forward to seeing them play again very soon!

About
Ventu Park Band
Ventu Park is a classic dance hit cover band from Ventura County in Southern California formed by a group of exceptional musicians and singers with a love for everything 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and now. Whether you love grooving to classic rock or dancing the night away to unforgettable pop hits, Ventu Park guarantees a show that will leave you smiling and moving.
Ventu Park was originally formed in 2022 by rhythm guitarist Ed Davis and when keyboardist Brian Barker (keys) joined the band, the name was changed to Ventu Park. The name resonates with our local Ventura County presence and the eclectic, artsy spirit of Ventu Park itself.
Founder Ed Davis best spans the musical coverage of Ventu Park, having played professionally with surf bands in the mid to late 60’s and later on the Vegas strip.
Ronson Webster - Lead Vocalist
Ronson is the band’s lead singer and front man. With his tenor range and superior tonal quality, he can cover just about any artist from the classic dance and rock era.
Ronson grew up in the San Fernando Valley as one of the original “Valley Dudes”, who started singing at the age of 5. Inspired by the likes of Donny Osmond, Steve Perry - Journey, Freddie Mercury - Queen and Klaus Meine - Scorpions, he started performing with bands at the age of 16. He started touring with original Christian hard rock bands, Recon and Barren Cross in his early twenties. He has several published songwriting credits to his name and his voice has appeared on hundreds of recordings as a background vocalist. While raising his family, he served as a worship leader for 25 years. Now that his kids are all grown up, He enjoys performing with Ventu Park.
Ed Davis -Rhythm Guitarist
Ed’s interest in music began as an 8-year-old watching a local TV show featuring a C&W trio. He was drawn to the host’s big flat top guitar, and it was his dream to someday have one. At 9 years old he got his first guitar and began taking lessons. He played in groups through high school. His biggest influences were instrumental bands like the Ventures and various surf groups like the Surfaries, Dick Dale.
In 1963 when the Beatles, Stones, and other Brits hit the charts he was swept up in the mania and started covering British groups and dressing up in attire from the famed Carnaby Street of London. Eventually he went on to play professionally at various night spots between Scottsdale and Tucson Arizona. Southern CA and Las Vegas.
In the early 70’s while playing in a nightclub called Ciro’s in Eagle Rock Ca. producer Bob Keene came into the club and liked what he heard. Soon after he signed the band and recorded an album and two singles. But as the music business goes, that didn’t go very far. Ed eventually left the music scene and took an internship with an insurance company and now owns his own business.
Several Years ago, he was introduced to someone at his golf course that had a jam band. So, he dusted off his Les Paul and started jamming with them. Within 2 years, a few people left, and new people joined, and the band started playing at dive bars. This all started about 5 years ago and has become one of the top 80’s cover bands in Ventura CA. Known as Ventu Park Band
Brian Barker - Keybords and BGV’s
Brian is a keyboard phenom. His parents were both professional church musicians. His mother was a choir director, and his father was a pipe organist. This genetic pre-disposition comes to life in every performance. Brian had his first classical recital at the age of 9 and went on to get his Masters Degree in piano. And his synthesizer work replicates the 80’s sounds to a tee.
Mike Burawski - Lead Guitarist
Mike is the Band’s lead guitarist. He is very detail-minded and picks up all the subtleties that are going on in the music. His interpretations are very true to the original artist. And he puts a lot of thought and effort into the quality of his sound. Simply put, he has the Wow factor!
Bill Howard - Bassist, BGV’s
Bill is the bass player in the band. He has a great sense of what a bass guitar is supposed to do. He’s very fluid and most importantly, he locks in tightly with the drummer. Bill is our newest member and has been doing an amazing job for us. He’s always moving and always smiling.
Mat Diaz - Drums, Lead and BGV’s
Mat is the heartbeat of the band. He started out at a very young age playing other instruments but (in his own words) “I wanted to play something that was louder”. So, he started playing drums. He is a well-seasoned drummer who gets in the pocket and keeps things nice and tight. Mat is also the other lead singer in the band. He has a high tenor range and gets up there with the likes of Steve Perry and Don Henley. The band is very fortunate to have two excellent lead singers.
Ventu Park is a labor of love that honor the creativity of the many artists we cover. We strive to put on a show where our audience can feel the essence of the music and be moved to dance or just listen and enjoy an excellent concert vibe.
